Chapter 1: Buttons Bursting - The Jealousy Grows
The first thing Leonard noticed was the sound. A low, strained creak from the cheap wooden frame of his couch as Priya shifted her weight. It was a sound he was hearing more often lately, one that sent a secret, guilty thrill straight through him.
She was trying to lean forward to grab her drink from the coffee table, but her movement was hampered. The beautiful, silk blouse she’d worn to court that morning, once loose and flowing, was now pulled taut across her middle. The delicate fabric strained over the soft, full curve of her belly.
“Everything okay?” he asked, his voice a little too high.
“This blouse is just… it must have shrunk in the dry cleaning,” Priya muttered, her brow furrowed in frustration. She sucked in a sharp breath, trying to create room, and reached again. That’s when it happened. A sharp ping, followed by a softer plink, plink.
A button, then two more, gave up the fight. They flew off, one landing in a bowl of leftover popcorn. The blouse gaped open, revealing the generous swell of her stomach, pale and soft against the dark lace of her bra. Leonard’s mouth went dry. She was getting so much bigger.
The door swung open before either could speak. Penny stood there, holding a tub of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and a spoon, her bubbly energy filling the space. “Hey, losers! What’s—whoa.”
Her eyes landed on Priya, on the exposed skin and the defeated buttons. A flicker of something hot and unpleasant crossed her face before she masked it with a wide, performative smile. “Big lunch, Priya?”
Priya’s spine straightened. She pulled the edges of her blouse together, her knuckles white. “Defective clothing. Unlike some people, I don’t live in sweatpants.”
Penny’s smile tightened. She looked down at her own body, clad in soft, stretchy fabric that accommodated her new, softer hips and the heavy, full curve of her breasts. She’d told herself it was just comfort food for the stress of audition season. She scooped a massive spoonful of ice cream.
“Well, some of us have real jobs that require movement,” Penny said, the words dripping with false sweetness. “Waiting tables is a workout. Not that you’d know, behind your big, important desk.”
“My desk doesn’t come with a side of fries,” Priya shot back.
Leonard watched, mesmerized. This was better than he’d ever imagined. The jealousy, the tension, the way their bodies were changing, becoming more substantial, more… present. He loved it. He loved the softness, the sheer volume of them.
Flustered by Priya’s retort, Penny gestured with the ice cream spoon. A large, melting chunk of cookie dough and cream flew from it. She gasped as it landed with a cold, wet slap right in the deep, shadowed cleft of her cleavage, visible above her low-cut top.
“Oh, for crying out loud!” she yelped, looking down at the mess now slowly oozing down between her breasts.
Leonard’s eyes darted from Priya’s exposed belly to the creamy trickle making its way into the lush valley of Penny’s chest. His arousal was a sharp, insistent pressure. He could smell the sweet vanilla, see the stark white against Penny’s sun-kissed skin. Priya’s sharp, indignant inhalation was a counterpoint to the sticky, sensual scene.
This was it. This was everything he wanted.
Penny, blushing, began trying to scoop the melting mess out with her fingers, only succeeding in smearing it further. Priya watched, a smirk playing on her lips, her own predicament momentarily forgotten in the schadenfreude.
“Need a bib?” Priya asked.
“Need a tent?” Penny retorted, her voice trembling with a mix of anger and humiliation.
Leonard didn’t move. He just watched, committing every detail to memory. The way Penny’s full breasts jiggled as she tried to clean herself. The way Priya’s soft middle folded as she sat back, a satisfied look on her face, her unbuttoned blouse a testament to her own expanding form.
They were both so deep in their denial, so focused on their little war, they couldn’t see what was happening to them. They couldn’t see the beautiful, voluptuous women they were becoming.
And he was going to enjoy every single pound of it.
