Chapter 12: Muscle Worship

The door to Penny’s bedroom clicked shut, muffling the mundane world outside. The air inside was warm, thick with the scent of their post-workout sweat, a sharp, animalistic perfume that clung to the clothes strewn across the floor. Leonard stood between them, his heart hammering against his ribs like a trapped bird.

“You looked so cute watching us today,” Penny murmured, her voice a low, vibrating hum. She stepped behind him, her presence a radiating wall of heat. Her hands, each capable of crushing a coconut, settled on his slender shoulders. “All wide-eyed and speechless.”

Priya stood before him, a smirk playing on her full lips. Her eyes, dark and intense, held his. “He always looks like that when we lift. Don’t you, Lenny?” She didn’t wait for an answer. Instead, she peeled off her tank top in one fluid, powerful motion. The muscles of her torso were a masterwork of anatomical sculpture. Her abdominals were not just defined; they were thick, individual plates of armor separated by deep, dark fissures. Her rib cage was a broad cage of bone and sinew over which her monumental pectorals lay, two sweeping slabs of muscle that strained against her sports bra.

“I…” Leonard’s voice failed him.

Penny’s hands slid down his arms, her touch somehow both gentle and immovably firm. “Shhh. Just feel.”

From behind, Penny pressed against him, and he was engulfed. The vast, sweaty expanse of her back and chest molded to his spine. Her arms, each bicep a solid mound larger than his head, wrapped around his torso, locking his own arms to his sides. He was encased in living, breathing marble.

Priya stepped forward, closing the final distance. “Our turn to show you a different kind of strength.” She placed her hands on his hips, her grip possessive. Then, with an effortless, terrifying grace, she lifted him. His feet left the floor. A gasp was smothered as she pulled his face into the formidable shelf of her chest. He was suspended between them, a fragile doll in the hands of goddesses.

The world narrowed to sensation. The hard, unyielding pressure of Priya’s pectorals against his cheeks, the salt-tang of her sweat on his lips. The relentless, encompassing squeeze of Penny’s arms from behind, making his ribs creak with each shallow breath he managed to take. He was trapped, utterly and completely. A whimper, thin and reedy, escaped him. It was not a sound of pain, but of overwhelmed surrender.

Priya laughed, a rich, throaty sound that vibrated through his entire skull. “He likes it.”

“Of course he does,” Penny’s voice rumbled through his back. “He’s ours.”

They held him there for an eternity, suspended in their power, demonstrating a control that was as intimate as it was absolute. His arousal was a sharp, helpless thrum in the silence, a silent acknowledgment of their terrifying, magnificent dominion.

Weeks bled into one another, marked not by calendars but by the relentless expansion of their bodies. The king-sized bed, which had once groaned under their combined weight, now emitted a continuous, pained creak from its overstressed springs. Getting dressed was a daily battle.

“Dammit!” Penny’s frustrated shout echoed from her walk-in closet. Leonard found her there, a look of pure fury on her face as she held the shredded remains of a blouse. The sleeves had split at the seams, unable to contain the colossal, veiny girth of her biceps. The fabric across the back was torn in a straight line, victim to the ever-widening map of her latissimus muscles. “This was my favorite shirt.”

In the bedroom, Priya was having a similar struggle. She stood before the full-length mirror, critically examining a pair of tailored suit pants. The fabric strained dangerously across her quadriceps, each one a densely packed pillar of muscle that threatened to burst the stitches with the slightest movement. The hips, once wide, were now a solid block of power that made the cut of the trousers obsolete.

“I can’t go to court looking like this,” she muttered, her sharp wit edged with a new, raw insecurity. “They’ll think I’m a bodybuilder, not a lawyer.”

“Maybe you are,” Penny said, emerging from the closet. She flexed an arm absently, and the three-headed muscle swelled, distorting the skin around it with a web of blue veins. The casual display of such raw power was as normal as breathing.

Leonard watched from the doorway, a constant, awed spectator to their metamorphosis. They were still growing. He could see it every day. Penny had to duck slightly to clear the top of the bedroom doorframe now. Priya’s height had always been elegant, but now it was imposing, her head brushing the ceiling fan if she stood perfectly straight.

Their love for him had not diminished; it had magnified, becoming as overwhelming as their physiques. A simple hug from Penny now lifted him off his feet, his spine popping gently in her embrace. A playful pat on the back from Priya sent him stumbling forward, his body buzzing from the impact.

One evening, Penny settled onto the couch to watch television. There was a sound like a gunshot—a sharp, splintering crack—followed by a sudden lurch. The entire frame of the sofa had given way under her weight, the legs splaying outwards, depositing her on the floor amidst a wreck of wood and cushions.

She didn’t yell. She just sat there, amidst the ruins of the furniture, and looked at her own hands as if seeing them for the first time. The hands that could squat eight hundred pounds, that could shred denim and splinter pine.

Priya walked in from the kitchen, her steps causing the floorboards to tremble. She looked from the destroyed couch to Penny’s face. A silent understanding passed between them.

“We’re going to need to reinforce everything,” Priya said, her voice quiet.

Penny looked up, her gaze finding Leonard. The frustration melted away, replaced by a fierce, possessive warmth. She flexed her hand, making the muscles in her forearm writhe and knot. “It’s worth it.”

Leonard, his heart swelling with a terrifying, devoted love, could only nod. He walked over to her, stepping over the splintered wood, and placed his hand on the impossibly hard curve of her shoulder. He felt the power there, a dormant volcano. He thought of the broken couch, the torn clothes, the watching eyes from the apartment across the way. They were outgrowing the world built for ordinary people. And he, nestled in the shadow of their greatness, would follow them anywhere.
