Chapter 9: Triple Trouble Engagement

The morning light was a brutal, uninvited guest. It sliced through the gaps in the blinds, illuminating the wreckage of the night. Leonard lay pinned, a blissful captive in a valley of warm, breathing flesh. The air was thick with the smell of sex, sweat, and the faint, sweet odor of metabolizing sugar.

Penny’s left breast, a heavy, pendulous weight, was draped over his face like a warm, smothering blanket. Each of her breaths caused it to shift slightly, a massive, soft movement that threatened to cut off his air. He didn’t mind. He nuzzled into the yielding softness, inhaling her scent. Below his chest, Priya’s stomach, a vast, smooth dome, pressed down on his hips and thighs, anchoring him to the sagging mattress. The bedsprings had long since given up their protest, existing in a state of permanent, groaning resignation.

He stirred, the movement slight, but enough to disturb the mountain of flesh above him.

“Mmmph,” Penny grunted, her voice thick with sleep. She shifted, a seismic event that sent ripples through the bed. Her arm, thick and soft, flopped across his chest. “Time’s it?”

“Early,” Priya murmured from his other side. Her voice was clearer, sharper, but laced with a new, languid gravity. She tried to roll onto her side to see the clock, but the effort was immense. Her wide hips, now layered with deep, heavy curves, required a concerted heave. The mattress dipped precipitously. She gave up, sinking back into the depression she had created. “Doesn’t matter.”

Leonard felt a profound, dizzying peace. This was not the anxious, negotiated intimacy of his past. This was total immersion. He was a small craft between two vast, warm continents. Their power was absolute, their presence encompassing. The memory of the night was a blur of overwhelming sensation—the crushing weight, the slick heat between rolling folds of flesh, the sounds of their bodies meeting, of air escaping in guttural moans and wet, unresonant pops. They had used him, consumed him, and he had loved every second of his own annihilation.

He took a deep breath, his ribs expanding with difficulty against the pressure.

“Marry me,” he said. The words were muffled by Penny’s breast.

A beat of silence. Then, a low chuckle from Penny that vibrated through his entire skull. “What was that, sweetie?”

He turned his head, managing to find a pocket of air. “I said, marry me. Both of you.”

Priya lifted her head, a significant effort that revealed the thick, strong column of her neck, now softened by a double chin. Her dark, intelligent eyes studied him. “Both of us? Leonard, that’s not legally possible.”

“We’ll figure it out,” he said, his voice earnest, desperate. “I don’t care. I can’t… I can’t go back to how things were. This. This is everything.”

Penny used her elbow to push herself up slightly, creating a cascading rearrangement of her body. Her breasts settled against her enormous stomach, creating a deep, shadowed crease. She looked at Priya over the landscape of Leonard’s body. A silent communication passed between them, a shared understanding of the power they now wielded. It was a heady, addictive feeling.

“Okay,” Penny said, a slow, easy smile spreading across her face.

“Okay,” Priya echoed, her tone more analytical, but with a thread of the same dark excitement. She reached a hand across Leonard, her fingers, now dimpled and soft, finding Penny’s. They clasped hands over his heart, a fleshy bridge sealing the pact.

The rest of the morning was a slow, arduous process of extraction. Getting out of bed required a coordinated effort of grunting and heaving. The floorboards complained under their collective weight. They moved through the apartment like great ships in a narrow channel, their hips brushing doorframes, their movements slow and deliberate.

In the bathroom, Penny stood before the mirror, her once-sharp jawline now blending seamlessly into the lush fullness of her neck. She turned, trying to see her back, the skin stretched taut over the new, heavy curves of her hips and buttocks. She poked the soft, pale flesh of her belly. It yielded deeply, holding the impression of her finger for a moment before slowly springing back.

“These pants are definitely tighter,” she announced, her voice casual, a masterclass in denial.

Priya, squeezed beside her at the sink, snorted. “It’s the humidity. It makes everything swell.” She tugged at the waistband of her own silk pajamas, the fabric straining across the broad shelf of her stomach. “We should get breakfast. I’m starving.”

From the bedroom, listening to them, Leonard felt a surge of possessive joy. They were his. His beautiful, massive, overwhelming world. He didn’t see the struggle in their movements or hear the lies in their voices. He only saw perfection.

Down in the parking lot, unnoticed by the trio in 4B, Amy and Bernadette watched the building from their new, elevated perspective. Amy’s arms were crossed, the defined bulk of her biceps pushing against the fabric of her reinforced shirt.

“The bonding ritual is complete,” Amy observed, her voice a low monotone. “The social structure is consolidating around their new physical reality.”

Bernadette cracked her neck, the sound like two stones grinding together. “Good. A stable unit is easier to manipulate. The serum in their food delivery is maintaining their caloric absorption rate at ninety-eight percent.” She flexed her hand, watching the individual muscle fibers in her forearm dance and writhe. “When do we increase the dosage?”

Amy’s lips curled into a thin, precise smile. “Patience, Bernadette. Let them enjoy their engagement. Let them settle into their new shapes. The greater the mass, the harder the fall… and the more dramatic the reshaping will be.”

She looked down at her own powerful hand, then closed it into a fist that could crush steel. The next phase was waiting, and it would require even more raw material to work with.
