"Seriously, how am I supposed to gain experience... with that, if every college cheerleader believes I should already have experience from High School?" Derrick Banner asked his neighbor and longtime best friend Bonnie Hunter. Bonnie's smile curled around her cheekbones which caused Derrick to shiver. "It just so happens that I can help with this, Big-D. I happen to know a woman that has the same issue and pleaded for my help as well. I can hook you up. But blindfolds would be involved..."

Chapter 4: The Reveal

The air in Bonnie’s bedroom hung thick and humid, saturated with the cloying sweetness of vanilla candles and the raw, unmistakable scent of sex. Derrick’s hips jerked in short, frantic bursts, driving impossibly deep as Jane arched beneath him, her blindfolded face contorted in a silent scream. Her nails raked down his back, drawing sharp gasps that mingled with her own high, keening cry. It crested, broke, flooded them both—a shared, shuddering release that left them tangled, gasping, slick with sweat, utterly spent. Derrick collapsed onto her, his face buried in the curve of her neck, inhaling the salt and soap scent of her skin mixed with something uniquely Jane, uniquely now. He felt boneless, adrift, anchored only by the frantic drumming of her heart against his chest.

In the corner, perched on a plush lavender ottoman, Bonnie Hunter watched. Her fiery red hair was plastered to her temples, her athletic frame rigid. The oversized headphones still encircled her neck, the small microphone dangling near her collarbone, a forgotten conduit. Her gaze was fixed, unblinking, on the still-joined figures on the bed. One hand was buried deep beneath the waistband of her soft grey sweatpants, knuckles white, moving with a desperate, furious rhythm against herself. Her breath hitched in ragged gasps, her face flushed crimson, eyes wide and fixed on the place where Derrick and Jane were still connected. Her other hand gripped the edge of the ottoman so hard her knuckles stood out pale against her skin. A damp, dark patch bloomed obscenely on the front of her sweatpants, spreading as she rocked against her own hand, lost in the voyeuristic frenzy. A low, choked whimper escaped her lips.

The climax hit Bonnie like a physical blow. Her back arched sharply off the ottoman, a strangled cry tearing from her throat – raw, guttural, utterly devoid of the carefully modulated instructions she’d delivered minutes before. It wasn’t the sound that dislodged the headphones; it was the violent spasm that shook her entire body. The cushioned ear cups, already precariously balanced, slipped free from her sweat-dampened hair. They clattered onto the plush rug with a dull thud, the cord snaking away.

Silence crashed down. Utter, deafening silence, broken only by the frantic thudding of three hearts and the faint, ludicrously cheerful crackle of a vintage Nina Simone record playing on Bonnie’s turntable in the corner. The sudden absence of the muffled world within the headphones made the reality of the room roar into painful focus.

Derrick flinched at the clatter. Dazed, still half-submerged in post-climax haze, he lifted his head from Jane’s neck. The blindfold nudged up from the physical contact. His eyes, bleary and unfocused, scanned the room. They landed first on the discarded headphones on the rug. Then, slowly, inevitably, travelled up the cord. Up the damp sweatpants with their glaring dark stain. Up the trembling hand still caught beneath the fabric, fingers curled in a frozen claw. Up to the sweat-slicked face, the wide, horrified green eyes locked directly onto his. Bonnie’s mouth hung slightly open, frozen mid-gasp, her expression a mask of pure, animal terror.

Bonnie’s mouth hung slightly open, frozen mid-gasp, her expression a mask of pure, animal terror. Derrick stared, his own breath catching in his throat, the warm weight of Jane beneath him suddenly feeling like a separate, confusing reality. The damp patch on Bonnie’s grey sweatpants seemed impossibly dark against the soft pastel lavender of the ottoman.

Jane shifted slightly beneath him, her blindfold askew but still covering her eyes. "Hello?" she murmured, her voice thick and drowsy with spent pleasure. "What... what was that noise?" Her fingers traced lazy, unknowing patterns on his damp shoulder blade. The cheerful crackle of Nina Simone felt grotesquely loud now, underscoring the suffocating silence between Derrick and Bonnie.

Bonnie’s hand jerked away from beneath her waistband like she’d been burned, snapping back to grip the ottoman edge again. Her knuckles went impossibly whiter. She couldn’t look away from Derrick’s stunned face. A tremor ran through her, visible even from across the room. The scent of vanilla candles warred violently with the raw, humid musk hanging in the air.

"Bonnie?" Derrick rasped, the word scraping out. His mind reeled, trying to reconcile the confident, whispering guide with this terrified, flushed woman caught mid-pleasure. The discarded headphones mocked him from the rug. He remembered her husky voice in his ear, guiding his hands, his hips, urging him deeper into Jane’s warmth. Her price was indeed to watch.

A choked sound escaped Bonnie’s lips, halfway between a sob and a gasp. Her green eyes, usually sparkling with mischief, were wide pools of sheer panic. She looked utterly exposed, raw. Derrick felt a strange, unfamiliar heat bloom low in his belly, separate from the fading pulse of his own climax. It was a sharp, possessive thrill. And she came.

Jane lifted her head slightly, the blindfold slipping further. "Bonnie?" she asked again, confusion lacing her tone. "Is everything okay? Uh, sir, you’re crushing me a bit." She wriggled, trying to dislodge him, still blissfully unaware of the tableau unfolding just feet away. Her dark hair fanned out on Bonnie’s pale pink pillowcase.

Derrick didn’t move. He held Bonnie’s terrified gaze, pinned her there with his own dawning realization. The power thrummed through him, electric and undeniable. It wasn’t just the physical act with Jane; it was Bonnie’s complete, involuntary surrender. Her arousal, her climax, triggered solely by watching him. To him.

A slow, disbelieving grin tugged at the corner of Derrick’s mouth. The absurdity, the sheer audacity of it, hit him. He felt Jane shifting impatiently beneath him, Bonnie frozen in terror before him. The humid air clung to his skin. Derrick grunted a laugh. Bonnie wasn't kidding. Her price was indeed to watch. And she came. To him. And he loved it. The power he had over Bonnie and... Jasmine?

The humid silence shattered. Jasmine’s fingers, trembling slightly with lingering aftershocks, fumbled at the knot of the black silk blindfold still askew on her face. She yanked it off, blinking rapidly against the sudden, harsh intrusion of Bonnie’s string-light bedroom glow. Her striking green eyes, dilated and unfocused at first, darted across the room – past the discarded headphones on the rug, past Bonnie frozen like a terrified statue on the lavender ottoman, her sweatpants stained dark – and landed squarely on the flushed face hovering inches above her own. Recognition slammed into her like cold water.

"Derrick?!" The name tore from her throat, raw and disbelieving. A fresh wave of sensation shuddered through her, a violent echo of the climax still vibrating deep within her core, directly connected to the intimate warmth he was leaving inside her. Her breath hitched, sharp and painful. "What the fuck?"

Derrick flinched, the slow, possessive grin instantly wiped from his face, replaced by wide-eyed panic mirroring Bonnie’s. He instinctively tried to pull back, to create space, but Jasmine’s body beneath him tensed like stone. Her gaze, sharpening to laser focus now, swept from his startled expression down to Bonnie’s corner, taking in the headphones, the damp patch, the absolute horror sculpting her best friend’s features. The pieces clicked with brutal, devastating speed.

"Bonnie?" Jasmine’s voice dropped, low and dangerous, vibrating with a fury Derrick had never heard. "You… you set this up? With my brother? While you watched?" The accusation hung in the thick air, thick with the scent of sex and vanilla gone sour. Her eyes snapped back to Derrick, blazing. "And you? What the actual hell were you thinking? How could you—?"

"Jas, wait," Derrick stammered, finally managing to scramble off her, his own nakedness suddenly feeling grotesque under her furious scrutiny. He fumbled for the tangled sheet, his movements jerky. Cool air rushed over Jasmine’s skin where he’d been, a stark contrast to the lingering heat deep inside.

"Don't 'Jas' me!" she hissed, pushing herself up onto her elbows. Her dark hair cascaded wildly around her shoulders, her green eyes narrowed slits of betrayal. She ignored the slick mess between her thighs. "How long have you known? Both of you! Was this some… some twisted joke?" Her voice cracked. "My 'experience'? God, Bonnie, tell me you didn't orchestrate this!"

Bonnie finally moved, shrinking back into the ottoman as if trying to disappear. Her mouth opened, closed, opened again. No sound came out. Her hands clenched and unclenched in her lap, still damp. The playful glint in her eyes was obliterated, replaced by pure, sickening dread. She looked at Jasmine, then at Derrick, a trapped animal.

"It wasn't a joke," Derrick blurted, clutching the thin sheet around his waist. He avoided Jasmine’s searing gaze, looking instead at the horrified Bonnie. "Bonnie said… she said she wanted to help. Both of us. That the blindfold… it made it anonymous. Safer." He sounded pathetic, even to himself. He remembered Bonnie’s voice, low in his ear, urging him on: Yes, Derrick. Good. Just like that. Feel her open. The memory was suddenly toxic.

"Safer?" Jasmine spat the word. She scrambled off the bed, her movements jerky with anger and humiliation, grabbing her discarded t-shirt from the floor. The smooth, dark skin of her back was tense, muscles rigid. "You think getting fucked by my own stepbrother, while my best friend gets off watching, feels safe?" She yanked the shirt over her head, not bothering with anything else. "You’re both sick!"

"Jasmine, please," Bonnie whispered, finally finding her voice, thin and desperate. Tears welled in her wide green eyes, spilling over and tracing tracks through the sweat on her cheeks. "I didn't mean… I just thought…" She trailed off, helpless, her gaze darting frantically between Jasmine and Derrick. The powerful, confident orchestrator was gone, leaving only exposed nerve endings.

Jasmine ignored her, snatching her jeans off the back of Bonnie’s vanity chair. Her hands shook as she tried to force her legs into the denim. "Don't," she snapped, cutting Bonnie off before she could form another useless syllable. "Just. Don't. Talk." She zipped the jeans roughly, the sound harsh in the tense room. She scanned the floor for her underwear, spotted the crumpled black silk of her blindfold instead, and kicked it violently across the room towards Bonnie. It landed near the forgotten headphones.

Derrick stood rooted, the sheet slipping slightly. He watched Jasmine move with furious purpose, the air crackling around her. The thrilling power he’d felt moments ago had curdled into a leaden shame in his gut. He wanted to say something, anything, to erase the raw hurt and fury radiating from her, but his throat felt welded shut. Nina Simone’s voice crooned softly about feeling good, a cruel counterpoint to the devastation unfolding.

Jasmine found her panties, balled them up, and shoved them into her jeans pocket without looking at either of them. Her gaze, when it finally lifted again, swept over Bonnie’s tear-streaked face, then landed hard on Derrick. "Don't expect me at home tonight," she said, her voice dangerously calm now, a stark contrast to her trembling hands. She grabbed her worn leather jacket from the doorknob. "In fact, don't expect me anywhere near either of you."

She didn't slam the door. She pulled it shut with a soft, deliberate click that echoed far louder than any slam could have in the suffocating silence she left behind. The cheerful crackle of the record player suddenly seemed deafening. Derrick stared at the closed door, then slowly, numbly, turned to look at Bonnie. She met his eyes for a split second, a silent howl of shared ruin passing between them, before she buried her face in her hands, her shoulders shaking with silent, shuddering sobs. The damp patch on her grey sweatpants seemed to mock them both. The warmth he’d felt inside Jasmine was a distant, shameful memory.
