"Seriously, how am I supposed to gain experience... with that, if every college cheerleader believes I should already have experience from High School?" Derrick Banner asked his neighbor and longtime best friend Bonnie Hunter. Bonnie's smile curled around her cheekbones which caused Derrick to shiver. "It just so happens that I can help with this, Big-D. I happen to know a woman that has the same issue and pleaded for my help as well. I can hook you up. But blindfolds would be involved..."

Chapter 6: Degradation Obsession

The slam of Derrick’s door still vibrated in Bonnie’s bones as she slumped against the grimy hallway wall. Her knees buckled, sending her sliding down onto the thin, sour-smelling carpet. The cheap fluorescent light buzzed overhead, flickering erratically, casting long, wavering shadows that danced across peeling paint and faded band posters. Her breath came in ragged hitches, tears blurring the harsh lines of the corridor. She pressed a trembling fist against her mouth, trying to stifle the raw sob clawing its way up her throat. Derrick’s face. Trapped. Terrified. Jasmine’s eyes. Cold. Triumphant. The image played on a loop behind her clenched eyelids.

Silence seeped from under Derrick’s door. Thick. Suffocating. Bonnie hugged her knees tighter, her oversized band tee swallowing her frame. Just leave, she begged silently. Please, Jas, just go.

Then it came.

A low, rhythmic creak. Bedsprings protesting under shifting weight. Slow. Deliberate. Bonnie froze, her breath catching. No.

A soft, throaty moan followed. Jasmine’s. Not sharp or angry this time. Dark. Rich. Satisfied. It vibrated through the flimsy wood, settling low in Bonnie’s belly like a stone. Another gasp cut the air – Derrick’s. Sharper. Almost a whimper.

Bonnie dug her nails into her forearms. Stop listening. But her body betrayed her. Heat prickled across her skin. Goosebumps rose despite the stale warmth clinging to the hallway. Jasmine’s next moan was lower, longer, riding a wave of faster, insistent creaks. "Fuck… Derrick…" Jasmine’s voice, thick and slurred with pleasure, drifted out. "Right there… don’t stop…"

The command ignited a spark deep inside Bonnie.Hot. Unwanted. Terrifying. She squeezed her thighs together, desperate to crush the sudden flare of sensation. But Jasmine’s sounds escalated – panting breaths, guttural grunts, the frantic tempo of the bedsprings building to a crescendo. "Harder… God, yes…" Jasmine cried out, the sound raw and ragged, stripped of any mockery, pure desperate need.

The visceral cry shattered Bonnie’s resolve. Shame warred with a fierce, undeniable hunger. Her hand slid down almost against her will, beneath the loose waistband of her sweatpants, past damp cotton. Her fingers brushed slick heat.

She gasped, biting down hard on her knuckle. Stop. But Jasmine was keening now, sharp cries punctuating the relentless rhythm. "Ungh… Ungh… Derrick!" The name was a ragged shout, riding the peak of Jasmine’s climax.

Bonnie’s fingers moved. Tentatively at first, circling her clit with trembling pressure. Then faster.Harder. Mimicking the furious cadence bleeding through the door. She pressed her forehead hard against her knees, rocking her hips against her own hand. The cheap carpet scraped her bare ankle. The smells – dust, old carpet glue, stale beer – filled her nose, grounding her in the squalor. Jasmine’s ecstasy became her fuel. She pictured it: Jasmine arched, riding Derrick ruthlessly, taking her pleasure, owning his helpless body. Using him.

The image stoked the fire burning low in Bonnie’s belly. Her fingers worked furiously, punishingly. Her climax built, not in a gentle wave, but a terrifying pressure, coiling tighter and tighter. Fuelled by betrayal. By jealousy. By an echo of Jasmine’s own possessive fury. By the raw, undeniable sound of Derrick being used.

She came with a silent, violent shudder, her back slamming against the wall. Teeth sinking into fabric stifled her cry as intense, almost painful waves ripped through her. Her fingers were slick. Her breath ragged. Sweat plastered her hair to her temples.

Silence fell behind Derrick’s door. Heavy. Exhausted. The only sounds were the buzzing fluorescent and Bonnie’s own harsh breathing.

She pulled her hand free, wiping it roughly on the carpet, disgust warring with a hollow, aching void. Slowly, shakily, she pushed herself up. Her legs trembled. The door stared back, impassive. Closed.

Bonnie wiped her tear-streaked face with her sleeve, smudging mascara into a dark smudge beneath eyes that now held no softness. The playful glint was gone, replaced by something hard and calculating. Jasmine thought she’d won? Used Bonnie’s twisted fascination against her? Claimed Derrick? Drawn first blood?

Bonnie Hunter straightened her shoulders. Her fiery hair was a tangled mess, her face pale and blotchy, but her chin lifted. A cold smile, devoid of humor, touched her lips.

A cold smile, devoid of humor, touched her lips. The tremble in her hands vanished, replaced by a strange, icy calm. She smoothed her crumpled band tee, wiped the last dampness from her cheeks with a decisive swipe. The muffled silence behind Derrick’s door felt less like defeat now, more like… confirmation.

"Too easy," Bonnie murmured, the words barely a breath against the grimy hallway air. Stepbrother and stepsister, dancing to her commands. Best of all… neither of them were aware of it. The sheer simplicity of it, the way they’d walked right into the trap she hadn’t even fully realized she was setting, sent a jolt of dark satisfaction through her exhaustion.

The flickering fluorescent light buzzed like an angry insect overhead. She inhaled deeply, the stale air tasting of dust and old carpet glue and something else, something faintly metallic and primal lingering from her own frantic moment against the wall. She pushed off from the peeling paint, her legs surprisingly steady beneath her.

She didn’t glance back at Derrick’s door. Not once. Her fiery hair, tangled and wild moments ago, seemed to settle into a defiant halo as she walked. Past the faded band posters advertising forgotten gigs, past the chipped baseboard, toward the building’s heavy exit door at the end of the corridor. Her gait shifted subtly, hips swinging with deliberate rhythm.

She pushed open the heavy fire door, stepping out into the cool night air. Streetlight washed over her, illuminating the smudged mascara beneath her eyes, the slight flush still high on her cheeks. She blinked, adjusting to the dimmer light outside. The scent of damp pavement and distant city exhaust replaced the hallway’s stale confinement.

Bonnie Hunter didn't slump. She didn't hurry. She slowly walked outside toward her house next to Derrick's. A strut, showing Bonnie wasn't as wounded as she seemed. Her shoulders were back, chin lifted, each step deliberate and confident on the cracked sidewalk. The soft click of her worn sneakers echoed faintly in the quiet street.

She passed Derrick’s darkened bedroom window without a pause, her gaze fixed straight ahead on her own porch light glowing warmly just a few yards away. The image of Jasmine’s triumphant face, Derrick’s trapped expression, replayed, but now it fueled a different kind of heat – not panic, but calculation. The night felt charged, electric against her skin.

The faint echo of Jasmine’s cries, Derrick’s helpless moans, seemed to linger in the air, but Bonnie just smiled wider, a predator scenting opportunity. Her own arousal, sharp and undeniable minutes ago, had cooled into a focused, dangerous energy. She reached her own front steps, pausing for just a second under the porch light.

She looked back once, not at Derrick’s apartment, but down the empty street, her green eyes sharp and unreadable. The strut had done its job; any observer would see confidence, maybe even indifference. Only the slight tremor in her fingers as she fumbled for her keys betrayed the storm beneath the surface. The game had shifted. She was no longer just a player. She held the board.
