Chapter 17: The First Service

The silence after dinner was a thick, living thing. They had eaten the pasta Aidan and Jenny made, a simple arrabbiata, chewing methodically. The clink of forks on plates had been the only conversation. Now, the dishes were cleared, washed, and dried by Catriona and Freya under Jenny’s silent supervision. The domesticity was a veneer. Every movement felt rehearsed.

Jenny waited until the last glass was put away. She turned off the harsh kitchen light, returning them all to the lamplit gloom of the living room. She didn’t return to her spot by the armchair. Instead, she walked to the centre of the rug, the same spot she’d taken for orientation.

“Service detail,” she announced. Her voice wasn’t loud, but it carved through the quiet. “The first act of evening service. Catriona.”

Catriona, who had been leaning against the kitchen counter, straightened up. A flicker of her old defiance sparked in her green eyes, but her body was already moving forward, compelled by the structure she’d agreed to.

“You will kneel here,” Jenny said, pointing to the space directly in front of Aidan’s armchair. “You will prepare Sir for the evening. With your mouth.”

The words hung, naked and unambiguous. No poker-game euphemisms. No joking IOUs. This was an instruction.

Aidan’s stomach dropped. He felt a simultaneous, betraying rush of blood. He stayed in the armchair, his fingers gripping the worn fabric of the arms. This was different from the game. This was scheduled. This was cold.

Catriona didn’t look at him. She looked at Jenny, a challenge in her stare. But she sank to her knees on the rug. The posture was jarring. The confident bartender, reduced to this. She kept her back straight, her hands on her thighs. She was breathing through her nose, her freckles stark against her pallor.

“Proceed,” Jenny said.

For a long moment, Catriona didn’t move. The tension was a wire pulled taut, vibrating. Then, her hands lifted. They were steady, which surprised Aidan. Her fingers went to the button of his trousers, then the zipper. The sound was obscenely loud. She pulled the fabric apart, and he lifted his hips slightly to help, a silent, terrible cooperation.

He was already half-hard, a physiological betrayal. Her eyes flicked down, and he saw her throat work as she swallowed. There was no flirtatious wink, no crude joke. This was work. She reached for him, her touch clinical at first, then firming as she guided him out. Her other hand braced against his thigh.

She didn’t hesitate. She leaned forward and took him into her mouth.

The heat was instant, shocking. Aidan’s head fell back against the chair, a choked gasp escaping him. He forced his eyes open, not wanting to miss a second of this surreal reality. He saw the top of her fiery head, bobbing slowly. He saw the tension in her slender neck.

She started carefully, a simple, rhythmic suction. Then, as if settling into a task, she deepened her take. Her jaw relaxed, her throat opening, and she took him deeper than he thought possible. A wet, muffled sound escaped her. Her eyes were squeezed shut.

From the sofa, there was a sharp, indrawn breath. Freya. Aidan’s gaze cut to her. She was sitting perfectly still, but her hand was clenched in the silky fabric of her tunic, knuckles white. Her blue eyes were wide, dark with a mix of horror and fascination. She was watching, just as instructed, but this was a furnace blast of observation.

Jenny moved. She came to stand beside Aidan’s chair, behind Catriona’s kneeling form. She placed a hand on Aidan’s shoulder. Her touch was grounding, proprietary.

“Guide her,” Jenny whispered into his ear, her voice low and matter-of-fact. “Tell her what you need. She is here to serve.”

The command broke through his passive shock. His voice, when it came, was rough. “Slower.”

Catriona’s rhythm shifted, a deliberate, agonizing deceleration. The sensations amplified, a tight, slick friction that made his thighs tremble.

“Use your tongue,” he heard himself say. It didn’t sound like him.

She did. A flat, hot stroke along the underside that dragged a groan from his chest. Her technique was good, practiced, but it was utterly devoid of her usual playful seduction. This was submission. It was more intimate than anything they’d ever joked about.

Jenny’s hand tightened on his shoulder. “Good. Now stop.”

Catriona froze, her mouth still stretched around him. She didn’t pull away. She waited, her body trembling with the effort of stillness.

“Withdraw,” Jenny said.

Slowly, Catriona pulled back, releasing him with a soft, wet pop. A string of saliva connected her swollen lips to him for a second before breaking. She stayed on her knees, her chest heaving, her eyes cast down at the rug. A deep blush covered her chest and neck.

“You took the instruction well,” Jenny said, her tone analytical. “But you hesitated at the beginning. That is a breach of protocol. A small one, but it requires correction.” She looked at Catriona’s lowered head. “Assume the position for correction. Present yourself.”

Catriona’s breath hitched. For a second, Aidan thought she would rebel. He saw the muscles in her back coil. Then, with a shuddering exhalation, she bent forward, placing her hands flat on the rug. She pushed her hips back, raising her curvy arse in the air. The thin navy dress pulled tight across the full swell of it.

Jenny didn’t use an instrument. She simply stepped forward and brought her open palm down in a sharp, crisp crack.

The sound was a gunshot in the quiet room. Catriona jerked, a bitten-off yelp escaping her. A perfect, red handprint bloomed on the fabric.

Another slap, on the other cheek. Another jolt. Another muffled cry.

Aidan watched, mesmerized and horrified. This wasn’t play-spanking. This was punishment. Measured, deliberate, and meant to reinforce the hierarchy. Jenny’s face was serene, focused. She delivered five more, alternating sides, until the entire shape of Catriona’s backside was flushed a deep, hot pink through the dress.

When Jenny stopped, Catriona was breathing in ragged gulps, her forehead resting on her hands. A single tear traced a path through the dust on the rug.

“The correction is complete,” Jenny stated. “You may resume your posture.”

Slowly, Catriona pushed herself back up to her knees. She winced as she sat back on her heels. Her eyes were glassy, but she held Jenny’s gaze, the defiance now tempered into something harder, more complex. Acknowledgment.

Jenny turned to the sofa. “Freya.”

Freya flinched, as if being physically called. She unclenched her hand from her tunic.

“Your observation was passive. You disassociated. For this structure to work, engagement is required, even from the sidelines. You will now assist.” Jenny’s gaze was unrelenting. “Come here. Kneel beside Catriona. You will use your hands to finish what she started. You will maintain eye contact with Sir while you do it.”

Freya stood. She moved like a sleepwalker, her limbs loose. She lowered herself to the rug beside Catriona, their shoulders almost touching. She didn’t look at Catriona. She looked at Aidan, her blue eyes huge in her face. She reached for him, her touch cooler, more tentative than Catriona’s.

Her fingers wrapped around him, slick from Catriona’s saliva. She began to stroke, a slow, steady pump. And she held his gaze. The intimacy of it was paralyzing. This was the quiet yogi, the one who blushed at dirty jokes, now kneeling before him, working him with her hand while looking directly into him. Her breath was coming faster, her lips slightly parted.

He was right on the edge, a coil pulled tight. The visual of them both on their knees, Catriona flushed and punished, Freya obedient and watching him, Jenny’s firm hand on his shoulder—it was too much.

“I’m—” he grunted, a warning.

“Not yet,” Jenny said softly, her voice a steel thread. “Freya, stop.”

Freya’s hand stilled instantly. The sudden cessation was a sweet agony. Aidan shuddered, fighting the urge to thrust into her still grip.

“Sir will finish at a time of my designation,” Jenny said, addressing the room. “Control is the foundation. Of yourself. Of each other. Of this space.” She let the words settle. “The first service detail is concluded. You may both stand.”

Catriona and Freya rose, movements stiff and graceless. They didn’t look at each other. The air was heavy with the smell of sex and sweat and something sharper—shame, maybe, or its close cousin, surrender.

“We will now have a period of quiet reflection,” Jenny said, walking back to the centre of the rug. “You may sit. You will not speak. You will process. In one hour, I will assign the sleeping arrangements.”

She settled into the armchair, the one Aidan had vacated. He remained where he was, exposed, aching, his mind screaming. Catriona and Freya returned to the sofa, sitting at opposite ends now, a cavern of unspoken experience between them.

The only sound was the low hum of the refrigerator and the frantic, hidden rhythm of four hearts, beating out of sync, bound together in the silent, perfect architecture of the contract.
