Chapter 5: The Phone Call
The elevator doors sighed open directly into the penthouse office, a transition as abrupt as Richard’s text summoning her. Sara stepped onto the cold marble, the click of her heels the only sound in the sterile silence. The morning’s daring—the crop top, Charly’s tented pajamas, the thrill of her secret performance—felt like a child’s game here. This was the real arena.
Richard didn’t look up from his desk. “Close the door. Lock it.”
She did, the heavy mechanism thudding into place with finality. The city sprawled behind him, a gray tapestry under a bruised sky. He finally lifted his eyes, piercing and devoid of warmth. “You were teasing my son at breakfast.”
It wasn’t a question. A flush crept up her neck. “Yes.”
“In the underwear I bought for you.”
“Yes.”
“Detail it. Now. While you undress. Everything you did, everything he did. Omit nothing.” He leaned back, steepling his fingers. A predator at leisure.
Her hands trembled as she reached for the zipper of her dress. The soft wool pooled at her feet. “I… I wore just the crop top. The black lace one. It’s so small the bottoms of my breasts were visible beneath it.”
“Keep going.” His voice was a low rumble.
She unclasped her bra, let it fall. The air conditioning raised goosebumps on her skin. “And the thong. The one you… you picked out.” She hooked her thumbs into the waistband of her tights, pushed them down with her panties, stepped out of the puddle of clothing. She stood there, exposed, the art on her skin feeling like pathetic graffiti in this temple of cold order. “I made coffee. I leaned over the counter. I knew he was looking.”
“At what?”
“At my ass. The lace. At… the skin.” She knelt, as she had learned to do, on the hard floor before his desk. The posture was simultaneously humiliating and grounding. “I talked about the presentation. About my powerful new client. I said he couldn’t stop staring at me during the meeting.”
Richard’s lips thinned into something that wasn’t a smile. “And?”
“And Charly got hard. I could see it in his pajamas. He tried to act like he wasn’t, but he was. He asked if the client was professional. His voice was tight.” She recited it like a confession, the memory of Charly’s arousal now twisted into a tool for this man.
Richard stood, a slow, imposing uncoiling. He circled her, his shadow passing over her skin. “You used my influence, the fear I project in a boardroom, to titillate your husband. You turned my power into a cuckold’s fantasy for him.” He stopped behind her. “Do you think that’s what you are for me? A vehicle to cuckold my son?”
“I… I don’t know.”
His hand fisted in her curls, yanking her head back. “You are my thing. My vessel. His reactions are merely a gauge of my control. Over both of you.” He released her, walking to a cabinet. He returned with a sleek, black phone. He placed it on the desk, the screen dark and ominous. “You will call him. Now.”
Sara’s breath hitched. “What?”
“You will call your husband. You will tell him you’re at your studio, working. You will tell him you’ve been thinking about breakfast all morning. That thinking about it, thinking about him getting hard, made you so wet you had to touch yourself.” Richard’s tone was clinical, instructional. He tapped the phone. “And you will do exactly as I say during the call.”
Her stomach plunged. This was a new threshold, terrifying and electrifying. The secret, which had lived in glances and insinuations, was about to be given a voice, with Charly on the other end, blind to the truth. Richard’s finger hovered over the record button on the phone’s screen. A silent threat, a promise of ownership.
With numb fingers, she took the proffered handset. She dialed, the tones absurdly loud. It rang twice.
“Hey you,” Charly’s voice came through, warm and familiar, a sound from another life. “Everything okay?”
“Yeah,” Sara said, forcing lightness. “Just at the studio. Couldn’t focus.”
Richard knelt behind her, his hands gripping her hips. His mouth was at her ear. “Tell him.”
“I was just… thinking about this morning.” She closed her eyes.
“Yeah?” Charly’s voice softened, turned intimate. “Me too.”
Richard’s fingers trailed down her stomach. “Tell him why you can’t focus.”
“It got me all worked up, Charly. Thinking about you watching me.” The words were ash in her mouth. Richard’s thumb circled her clit, a rough, precise motion. She jerked, a gasp escaping.
“Sara?” Charly’s voice was closer, concerned, aroused.
“I’m so wet,” she whispered, obeying the script, the truth of the statement horrifyingly real as Richard’s fingers slid through her. “Just from remembering. I had to… I’m touching myself right now.”
A sharp intake of breath on the line. Then a husky, “Fuck, Sara. Are you?”
“Yes.” The syllable was a moan as Richard pushed two fingers inside her, his other hand clamped over her mouth to smother the sound. He worked her ruthlessly, the wet, obscene noise loud in the quiet room. She could hear Charly’s ragged breathing through the phone, picturing his kind face, his trusting eyes, as her body betrayed him for his father.
“That’s so hot,” Charly murmured, his own desire palpable, a knife in Sara’s heart.
Richard withdrew his fingers, replaced them with the blunt, massive head of his cock. He was already fully erect, intimidatingly thick. He removed his hand from her mouth, leaning to whisper. “Tell him you’re going to come. Then put the phone down. Don’t hang up.”
Tears streaked her cheeks. “Charly… I’m gonna come. I’m gonna come thinking of you.” She let the handset fall from her fingers onto the leather desk blotter.
Then Richard was driving into her in one brutal, claiming thrust. The stretch was immense, a burning fullness that stole her voice. He fucked her with a steady, piston-like rhythm, each impact jolting through her, his hands digging bruises into her hips. The phone on the desk, just inches away, picked up every sound: the slick, rhythmic slap of skin on skin, his low grunts, her choked, helpless cries.
“You are mine,” he growled into her ear, his breath hot. “Your husband listens to you take my cock and calls it hot. This is what you are for. This is your truth.”
The degradation was absolute. The pleasure, a traitorous wave, began to build under the violation, fed by the sheer animal physics of it and the devastating secret screaming into the silent phone. She came with a shattered cry, her body clamping around him in involuntary, shuddering spasms. He followed moments later, a final, deep thrust, a guttural sound ripped from his chest as he emptied himself inside her.
For a long moment, there was only the sound of their ragged breathing and the faint, tinny sound of Charly’s voice from the discarded handset. “…Sara? You there? That sounded… wow.”
Richard pulled out, leaving her feeling hollow and dripping. He calmly picked up the phone. “She’s here,” he said, his voice perfectly even, only a slight huskiness betraying him. “A little overwhelmed, I think. Call you back later, son.”
He ended the call. The silence that followed was deafening. He looked at the recorded file on the screen, saved it, and placed the phone back in the cabinet.
“Get dressed,” he said, returning to his chair as if reviewing a memo. “You have proven useful today.”
Sara gathered her clothes, her movements robotic. The scent of sex and leather clung to her. As she fastened her dress, her eyes caught a small, framed photo on Richard’s bookshelf: Charly, maybe ten years younger, smiling with an arm around his father. Richard followed her gaze.
“He has always been soft,” Richard said, not looking at the photo. “You are making him harder, in his own way. And you are learning where you belong.” He finally looked at her, a cold appraisal. “Now go. I have real work to do.”
She left, the elevator descending like a coffin lowering into the ground. Her body hummed with residual sensation and profound shame. In her bag, her own phone buzzed. A text from Charly: That was incredible. Can’t wait to see you tonight.
She stared at the words, the cheerful heart emoji he’d added, and felt the warm trickle of Richard’s come still seeping into her thong. The two realities, the loving husband and the brutal lover, the cherished wife and the owned thing, collided within her, and in the shattered silence of that collision, she wasn’t sure which woman, which life, was the lie.
