Chapter 7: The Dinner
The clink of silverware against fine china was the only sound for a full minute. Charly chewed his roast beef, the meat suddenly tasteless. He watched his father’s hand, large and veined, resting possessively on the tablecloth near Sara’s wine glass.
“The Merlot is exceptional, Dad,” Charly said, needing to break the silence.
“It should be. ’89,” Richard replied, his eyes not leaving Sara. “She has a palate for it now. Don’t you, darling?”
Sara nodded, her throat tight. “Yes. Thank you.”
“Fetch my napkin, would you? It slipped.”
She froze. The napkin was a crumpled pool of linen on the floor by Richard’s chair. A simple request. An impossible one. Her eyes flicked to Charly, who was watching, a faint line between his brows. Richard didn’t move. The command hung in the air.
Slowly, Sara pushed her chair back. The legs screeched on the hardwood. She knelt, the cool floor pressing through her stockings, and retrieved the napkin. As she placed it back on his lap, his hand closed over hers, trapping it there for a heartbeat too long. She felt the hard muscle of his thigh beneath the fine wool of his trousers.
“Thank you,” Richard said, his voice a low rumble.
She returned to her seat, her face warm. Charly took a long swallow of wine.
The meal continued, a torturous pantomime of normalcy. Richard discussed market fluctuations. Charly talked about a coding problem. Sara stared at her plate.
“I’m missing my fork,” Richard announced, peering at his place setting.
Sara’s head snapped up. The fork was there, beside his knife. She saw the glint in his blue eyes. This was the test. This was the game.
“It’s right there, Dad,” Charly said, pointing.
“Is it? My eyes aren’t what they were. Sara, be a dear and hand it to me.”
Her breath hitched. She reached across, her fingers closing around the cold silver. As she passed it to him, he took it, his fingers brushing hers, then trailed them slowly along her palm. A shiver, unwanted and electric, shot up her arm.
Charly put his own fork down with a sharp clink. “What’s going on?”
“Going on?” Richard leaned back, swirling his wine. “Your wife is being helpful. She’s always so… eager to please. Isn’t that right, Sara?”
She couldn’t speak. She could only stare at the cruel, handsome line of his mouth.
“It’s just… she seems jumpy,” Charly said, his voice strained. “And you’re… I don’t know.”
“I’m what?” Richard’s gaze was a physical weight. “We’re all family here. Aren’t we comfortable?” He let the silence stretch, then smiled. It didn’t reach his eyes. “Sara, come here.”
Her blood turned to ice. “What?”
“You heard me. This chair is large enough for two. Come sit on my lap. Like a good girl.”
The room tilted. Charly’s face drained of color. “Dad. That’s not appropriate.”
“Nonsense. She’s like a daughter to me. A very attentive daughter.” Richard patted his thigh. The command was absolute. It was the voice he used in the hotel room, the one that bypassed her thoughts and went straight to her core.
Her body moved before her mind could protest. It was a betrayal written in flesh. She stood on trembling legs, walked the three steps to his chair, and turned. She didn’t look at Charly. She couldn’t. She lowered herself onto Richard’s lap, the solid bulk of him firm beneath her. His arm came around her waist, pulling her back against his chest. She felt him, already hard, pressing against her through their clothes.
Charly made a strangled sound. “Sara. Get up.”
She didn’t move. Richard’s scent—spice, leather, power—enveloped her. His lips were near her ear. “See how well she fits?” he murmured, but loud enough for Charly to hear. His hand splayed across her stomach, pulling her tighter against his erection.
“What the fuck is this?” Charly stood, his chair toppling backward with a crash. “Sara, what are you doing?”
Richard’s other hand came up, cupping her breast through her silk blouse, his thumb circling her nipple until it peaked. Sara gasped, a sound of pure shame and helpless arousal. “She’s doing what she was made for,” Richard said, his voice cold and clear. “Aren’t you, pet? Showing your husband what a real man feels like.”
“Stop it!” Charly roared, but he didn’t move closer. His eyes were wide, horrified, locked on the sight of his wife being groped by his father.
“Or what?” Richard’s hand slid down from her breast, over her hip, and between her legs. He palmed her through her skirt, finding her already wet. “Look at her, Charly. Look at how soaked she is for me. She’s been mine for months. Every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. She begs for it.”
The truth, ugly and final, exploded in the room. Sara squeezed her eyes shut, tears leaking out.
Charly staggered as if struck. “Months? You… you’re fucking my… my father?”
Richard’s fingers pushed her skirt up, baring her thighs. He hooked his fingers into the lace of her panties. “Tell him, Sara. Tell him how you come to my office. How you get on your knees. How you love his old cock splitting you open.”
“Please,” she whimpered, not knowing who she was begging.
With a rough tug, Richard ripped her panties down, exposing her. The cool air hit her skin. He shifted her forward on his lap, his own belt already undone. Charly was frozen, a statue of anguish, his eyes glued to the intimate sight of his wife’s naked cunt positioned over his father’s lap.
Richard freed himself, and Sara felt the thick, familiar head of him press against her. He was massive, a fact Charly was now witnessing with stunned disbelief. “She takes every inch,” Richard grunted, guiding her down. “Watch your wife, boy. Watch her become my whore.”
He pulled her down hard, sheathing himself inside her in one brutal, claiming stroke. Sara cried out, a sharp sound of fullness and violation. She was impossibly stretched, filled by the man who had cuckolded her husband. Richard held her hips, forcing her to stay impaled.
Charly made a guttural noise. He didn’t look away. His face was a mask of torment, but his eyes were dark with a horrified, fascinated lust. His hand moved unconsciously to the front of his trousers, cupping the obvious bulge there.
“See?” Richard panted, beginning to move her up and down on his shaft. “He wants to see. He’s a fucking cuckold. Just like you’re a fucking slut.” He drove up into her, each thrust jolting through her body. The obscene, wet sound of their joining filled the formal dining room. “Tell him you love it. Tell him you love my cock more than his.”
Sara was sobbing, her body convulsing with pleasure and disgrace. “I love it,” she moaned, the words ripped from her. “I love your cock.”
Richard looked over her shoulder at his son. “You can touch yourself, Charly. It’s okay. Watch your daddy fuck your wife’s tight little pussy. Look how she milks me.”
Charly’s resolve shattered. His hand fumbled with his zipper, pulling himself out. He stroked himself slowly, mesmerized by the raw sight before him: Sara, bouncing on Richard’s lap, her curls wild, her breasts swaying, her mouth open in a silent scream as Richard pistoned into her with relentless, powerful strokes.
“That’s it,” Richard snarled, his composure gone, replaced by a primal, victorious grit. “You’re both mine. She’s my fuckhole, and you’re my pathetic, jack-off audience.”
The degradation was complete. Sara felt her orgasm building, a tidal wave of filth and ecstasy. Richard’s grip on her hips was bruising, his thrusts becoming erratic. “I’m gonna fill her up,” he growled at Charly. “Gonna pump my come right into her, and you’re gonna watch it drip out.”
With a final, deep plunge, he roared, his body locking. Sara felt the hot, pulsing rush of him flooding her depths, triggering her own climax. She shattered, her body clenching around him in violent spasms, a wordless scream tearing from her throat.
For a moment, there was only the sound of ragged breathing. Richard, still buried inside her, kept her pinned. Charly stood across the table, his hand still on his own spent flesh, his face blank with shock.
Slowly, Richard pushed Sara off his lap. She stumbled, his semen already leaking down her thigh. She collapsed onto the cold floor, unable to stand, unable to look at either man.
Richard tucked himself away, fastening his belt with deliberate calm. He took a sip of wine, as if finishing a business meeting. He looked at his son, at the ruin of him.
“Now you know,” Richard said, his voice once again smooth and controlled. “We’ll discuss the new living arrangements tomorrow. She stays with me. You’ll find the paperwork in order.”
He stood, stepped over Sara’s crumpled form, and left the dining room. The heavy door swung shut with a soft, final click.
Charly finally moved. He sank to his knees, not toward his wife, but where he stood, his shoulders heaving with silent, broken sobs. Sara lay on the floor, feeling the slow, warm trickle of Richard’s ownership seep from her body, and stared at the intricate pattern of the ceiling rose, a permanent crack now running through the center of her world.
The trickle reached the back of her knee. It was cool now. Charly’s sobs were dry, rasping things, like stones grinding together in a hollow space.
He finally lifted his head. His eyes were red-rimmed, shattered glass. He looked at her, really looked, from her disheveled hair to the damp, dark patch on the floor beneath her thighs. The silence stretched, thin and sharp enough to cut.
“Months?” he whispered. The word was rough, torn out.
Sara pushed herself up onto her elbows. The movement made more of Richard’s come leak out. She felt it. So did Charly. His gaze tracked it. “Yes.”
“Tuesday and Thursday.” He said it like reciting a death sentence.
“Afternoons.” She confirmed. Her voice was flat. What was left to shield?
He stood suddenly, his movement jerky. He walked around the long table, his steps uneven. He stopped a few feet from her, looking down. His nostrils flared. He could smell it—the sex, the sweat, the betrayal. “You let him… here. In our bed?”
“No.” She shook her head, a pathetic negation. “Hotels. His office. The back of his car once.”
A harsh, disbelieving laugh burst from him. “His car? You fucked my father in the back of a fucking Mercedes?” He knelt then, not to comfort, but to get level with her. His face was close. “Why?”
She searched for the lie, the elegant lie she’d crafted months ago about creative differences and powerful clients. It was ash. “I needed it.”
“Needed what?” His hand shot out, grabbing her jaw. It wasn’t gentle. His fingers dug into her skin. “Needed that old bastard’s cock? Needed him to call you a while? I saw your face, Sara. You came. You fucking came while he told me to watch.”
Tears spilled over, hot and shameful. “Yes.”
His grip tightened. “You liked it. You liked me seeing it.”
She couldn’t answer. Her silence was the confession.
He released her face as if burned. He stared at his own hand, then at the dampness on her thigh. His breath hitched. “I got hard,” he muttered, more to himself than to her. “I stood there and I… I got so fucking hard watching him ruin you.”
“It’s not ruined,” she said, the words automatic, a stupid defiance.
“Look at it!” he screamed, spittle flying. He pointed a trembling finger at her exposed sex, glistening and used. “Look at what’s dripping out of you! That’s him. That’s my father.” He dragged his hands through his hair, pulling at the roots. “And I wanted… for a second, I wanted to be closer. To see it better. What does that make me?”
Her mind, fogged with shame, finally caught up. The pieces clicked—his fascination with her stories, his questions about her ‘client,’ the dark fantasy he’d whispered just last week in their own bed. The kink he’d never named. It hadn’t been abstract. It had been a premonition.
“You have a cuckold fetish,” she said, the clinical term sounding grotesque here, now.
He flinched. “Don’t.”
“You do. You asked me, Charly. You begged me to tell you what it would be like with someone else. Someone powerful.” Her laugh was a broken thing. “You were fantasizing about this.”
“No! Not him! Never him!” He was crying now, angry, humiliated tears. “Anyone but that condescending, controlling prick! He’s looked down on me my whole life. And now he’s… he’s won. He has my wife. He made me watch him take her. And you… you just spread your legs.”
“It’s not just that,” she whispered, the full truth a poison she had to expel. “It’s everything. He decides what I wear. He has a key to my studio. He tells me when to come, and I come. He tells me when to come, and I come. He makes me feel…”
“What?” Charly’s voice was dangerously low. “What does he make you feel that I don’t? Was I too nice? Too kind? Should I have called you a filthy cunt and thrown you over a desk?”
“Yes!” The word erupted from her, a geyser of long-buried, ugly truth. “Maybe! I don’t know! It’s not about you. It’s about me. I’m empty for him. I don’t have to think. I just have to obey. And it feels like fucking heaven.”
He reeled back. The last vestige of hope in his eyes guttered out. He stood, looking down at her with a kind of cold, final understanding.
“You’re sick,” he said, no anger left, just a devastating certainty. “You’re both sick. And you’ve made me a part of it.”
He turned and walked toward the door. He stopped, hand on the frame, shoulders slumped. He didn’t look back.
“The paperwork,” he said, echoing Richard’s cold pronouncement. “He can have it. He can have you. You belong in his world. Not mine.”
He left her there on the floor, in the ruin of the dining room, the taste of Merlot and betrayal thick in the air. The crack in the ceiling seemed to widen, a black line splitting her past from her future.
