Chapter 14: The Ultimate Test
The sharp sting on Ellie’s left ass cheek had faded to a persistent, warm throb, a phantom brand that seemed to pulse in time with her heartbeat as she walked. It was a discomfort she carried like a secret badge, the lingering heat mixing strangely with the cool air on her exposed thighs. She found herself unconsciously rolling her hips a little more as she climbed the stairs to her dorm, the movement making the thin skirt ride higher. The encounter replayed – Mark’s grin, the rough smack, the surge of warmth that had followed the shock. Ripe. The word echoed, crude but… affirming. It meant they saw her. They wanted.
Her dorm room door swung open to a blast of sickly-sweet perfume and the pulsing bassline of a pop song. Seraphina Moreau – Sera – was a whirlwind of pastel glitter and bare skin sprawled on Ellie’s unmade bed. Discarded fast-fashion bags spilled neon fabric onto the floor, mingling with textbooks and empty snack wrappers. The air shimmered with fine glitter dust.
"Took you long enough, Finch!" Sera chirped, not looking up from her phone. Her perfectly contoured face was screwed up in concentration. She wore only a tiny, iridescent pink bikini top and matching micro-shorts that left nothing to the imagination, her long legs tanned and gleaming. "Did you get groped on the staircase again? Or just ogled?"
Ellie dropped her backpack, the familiar ache low in her belly flaring as she caught sight of the costumes laid out like trophies on her desk chair. "Just Mark," she said, trying for nonchalance, slipping off her sneakers. "Near the science building."
"The spanker?" Sera finally glanced up, a predatory gleam in her heavily-lined eyes. "Nice. He’s got hands like a linebacker. Bet it still stings." There was undisguised envy in her voice. "Get changed. The glitter paste is drying out."
Ellie peeled off her clothes, the damp fabric clinging. The fairy costume Sera had decreed was a far cry from the comfy sweaters Ellie used to live in. It consisted of a minuscule, shimmering green wrap skirt made of layers of flimsy netting, and "pasties" fashioned from oversized, glitter-coated stick-on gems that barely covered her nipples. Below the skirt, a matching green thong. The crowning touch – aside from the flimsy, iridescent wings now propped against the wall – were strappy, glitter-painted stiletto heels that looked capable of inflicting serious damage.
"Jesus, Sera, these heels are torture devices," Ellie grunted, struggling to buckle an ankle strap. Her feet already screamed in protest.
"Pain is beauty, princess," Sera sang, finally standing. She shimmied into her own costume: a scandalously short purple skirt, similar tiny pasties, and strappy heels even higher than Ellie’s. She expertly attached her own sparkling wings. "And beauty gets attention. Now, hold still." She grabbed a pot of thick, silver glitter paste and a brush. "Gotta highlight the goods."
Ellie flinched as the cold paste touched her collarbone, then her sternum. Sera worked with quick, practiced strokes, tracing the curve of her breasts above the ridiculous pasties, dusting her shoulders, even sweeping a stripe down her belly toward the waistband of the thong. The brush felt intrusive, the paste gritty. Ellie watched her reflection in the full-length mirror taped to the wardrobe door. The girl staring back was almost unrecognizable: skin artificially darkened and now coated in shimmer, breasts pushed high and exposed, legs endless in the heels. The faint outline of the lace thong was unmistakable beneath the sheer skirt. The ache pulsed, familiar and demanding. She thought of Mark’s handprint, imagined it glowing silver.
"Okay, turn around," Sera commanded. "Ass focus." More cold paste on the cheeks of her ass, Sera’s fingers pressing hard, spreading the gritty mess, tracing the curve deliberately, dipping perilously close to the cleft. Ellie gripped the edge of her desk, the wood digging into her palms. Sera’s touch wasn't gentle. It was assessing. Possessive, almost. "God, Finch," Sera murmured, a strange intensity in her voice. "You really filled out back here. All that walking around campus sticking it out like a baboon in heat must be paying off."
Ellie flushed, the heat spreading from her face down her chest. Shame prickled, hot and sharp beneath the layer of paste and the deeper, more insistent throb between her legs. But she didn’t pull away. Sera was right. It was paying off. They noticed. They touched. Mark had touched her. Chad had touched her lots of times, harder. She pushed her ass back slightly into Sera’s touch, a silent answer.
"Perfect," Sera declared, stepping back. She grabbed her phone and positioned Ellie directly in front of the mirror. "Wings on. Smile like you mean it, bitch. We're slutty forest nymphs, not corpses." Sera clipped on her own wings and squeezed in beside Ellie, pressing close. Her body was warm, radiating the same cloying perfume. She threw an arm around Ellie’s waist, her fingers immediately sliding down, not resting on the hip, but curling possessively around the swell of Ellie’s glitter-coated ass cheek.
"Ready?" Sera chirped, holding the phone high. The screen showed their reflection: two garish, half-naked figures shimmering under the harsh dorm light, wings slightly askew, expressions straining for sultry. Ellie forced a breathy laugh, pasting on the vacant, open-mouthed pout Sera had coached her on. She arched her back, pushing her chest forward, her ass back into Sera’s grip. The glitter paste itched. The heels threatened to snap her ankles.
"Say 'cock!'" Sera giggled.
"Cock!" Ellie echoed, the word feeling strange and thrilling in her mouth. Sera squeezed her ass hard, fingers digging in, nails scraping slightly through the paste. The sharp pressure made Ellie gasp, her eyes widening slightly in the reflection. Click. Click. Click. The shutter sound echoed in the perfumed silence.
Sera immediately pulled away, already swiping through the photos. "Oh, fuck yes," she breathed, zooming in. "Look at that grip! Look at your face! Pure desperation. They are gonna lose their minds." She thrust the phone at Ellie.
Ellie stared at the screen. There she was. Eyes wide, mouth slack, back impossibly arched. Sera’s hand was a pale, possessive claw clamped onto her glittering ass cheek, fingers splayed, pressing the flesh obscenely. It looked… cheap. Desperate. Exactly like Sera said. A wave of nausea, sudden and cold, washed over her, momentarily drowning the ever-present ache. The fairy wings felt like a cruel joke. What was she doing? This wasn't her. The girl buried under layers of tan and glitter and desperate need – that wasn't Eleanor Finch.
But then Sera tapped the screen, bringing up the comments flooding in already. Chad: 🔥🔥🍑. Mark: DAMN Finchy! Save some ass for the rest of us! Tyler: Double trouble. Need a closer inspection 👀. A dozen other emojis and crude remarks bloomed beneath the photo.
The cold wave receded, burned away by a fresh, bright flare of warmth. Validation. Attention. Tangible, immediate. Her thumb hovered over the heart icon. The ache reignited, hotter, sharper. She hit 'like'. Sera was already typing a reply under Ellie’s name: Come find us and you can inspect anything you want 😉.
