Chapter 8: Laiden Maidens
The groan ripped from your throat before you were fully awake. It started low, a rumble of discomfort in your belly, then surged upward, morphing into a sharp cry as a band of iron seemed to tighten around your middle, squeezing the breath from your lungs. Your eyes flew open, blinking against the dim pre-dawn light filtering into the rough-hewn den. Cold stone pressed against your back, the familiar musk of Alpha’s fur thick in the air. But the feeling… gods, the feeling was monstrous.
Your hands flew instinctively to your stomach. The flat plane you’d known was gone. Replaced by a hard, distended dome that strained against the thin fabric of your stolen shift. It felt huge, impossibly heavy. Another vicious cramp seized you, radiating outwards, stealing your voice. Panic, cold and sharp, lanced through you. This wasn’t the lingering soreness from Alpha’s claiming. This was something else. Something terrifying.
A whimper echoed nearby. You turned your head, wincing at the movement. Rose lay on a pile of furs a few feet away. Her eyes were wide, terrified saucers in her pale face. Her hands, too, were pressed against her own swollen abdomen. Scratches and bite marks, faded but still visible, crisscrossed her skin, stark reminders of the moon’s frenzy. Her shift was stretched taut over a belly nearly as large as your own. She looked like she was about to burst.
“No,” you whispered, the word catching in your dry throat. “No, this… this can’t be…”
Rose’s whimper turned into a choked sob. “What have they done to us?” Her voice was raw, filled with a horror that mirrored your own.
The heavy flap of hide covering the den entrance shifted. Jaina ducked inside, her weathered face creased with a knowing look that wasn’t quite sympathy. She carried a rough wooden bowl filled with water and a cloth. Her gaze swept over both of you, lingering on your swollen forms.
“Awake, then?” she said, her voice calm, almost matter-of-fact. She knelt beside Rose first, dampening the cloth and beginning to wipe the sweat from the maid’s brow. Rose flinched but didn’t pull away, her body rigid with fear.
“Jaina…” you rasped, pushing yourself up on trembling elbows. The movement sent fresh waves of pressure through your swollen belly. “What… what is this? How…?”
Jaina turned her placid eyes towards you. “The seed takes root quick under the full moon’s blessing, Lady. His seed. The Pack’s power.” She dipped the cloth again, wringing it out. “Binding ritual’s magic. Strongest during the height of the hunt, the height of the rut. Plants the pup quick. Makes ‘em grow fast. Nature’s way, for beasts like them.”
“How are we Nine months pregnant?” Rose gasped, tears streaming down her cheeks. “It has been less then a week.”
Jaina nodded. “Feels like a blink. Body moves fast. Too fast for the mind to catch up.” She moved towards you, the damp cloth surprisingly cool against your feverish skin. “You carry the Alpha’s get. Strongest of the litter, no doubt. She carries…” Jaina glanced dismissively at Rose, “…the Pack’s. Mixed blood. But pups all the same.”
The reality crashed over you like icy water. Pregnant. It had acually happened. Bread by the beast. By the pack. The sheer, impossible violation of it stole your breath. Your body, your noble lineage, used as a breeding vessel for beasts. Another agonizing contraction clamped down, deeper this time, making you cry out and double over.
“Easy, easy,” Jaina murmured, her hand surprisingly firm on your shoulder. “First pains. Means it’s time.”
“Time?” you choked out, fresh terror spiking. “Time for what? It’s too soon! It’s impossible!”
“Told you,” Jaina said patiently, her voice a low monotone against the rising panic. “The moon’s magic. They grow fast. They come fast. Your bodies know. They’re ready. Both of you.”
Rose let out a keening wail. “I don’t want to! I can’t! It’ll kill me! Please!”
Jaina sighed, a sound of weary pragmatism. “Can’t stop it, girl. The pups decide when. Your body will push ‘em out, whether you like it or not. Fighting it just makes it worse.” Besides you dont think the binding ritual and all that stregth was just for the breeding, you will survive. She looked at you, her gaze steady. “Especially you, Lady. Alpha’s bitch bears his pups. You need to be strong. For them. For him.”
Before you could spit the furious denial bubbling up, Rose’s cry cut through the den, sharp and guttural. Her body arched off the furs, her hands clawing at her belly. “Oh GODS! It’s happening! NOW!” A gush of fluid soaked through her shift and the furs beneath her. The sharp, amniotic scent filled the small space.
Jaina was instantly by her side, pushing Rose’s shift up, exposing her swollen belly and the dark thatch of hair between her legs. Her thighs were already slick. “Right then. Yours is eager.” She glanced towards the den entrance. “Delta!”
The younger werewolf appeared almost instantly, his hybrid form filling the entrance. His intelligent eyes scanned the scene, nostrils flaring at the scent filling the air. He grunted, a questioning sound.
“Rose’s time,” Jaina stated. “Fetch the others. The Pack needs to see their pups born.”
Delta nodded sharply and vanished.
“No!” Rose shrieked, trying to curl away, her eyes wide with animal terror. “Not them! Not out there!”
“Pack law,” Jaina said firmly, holding Rose’s thrashing legs apart. “Pups belong to the Pack. They witness the claiming.” She looked at you, her expression unreadable. “Yours will be different. Alpha’s get. More… private. For now, just breathe through your own pains. Yours will follow soon.”
You could only watch, paralyzed by horror and your own mounting cramps, as two more massive, furred forms – Betas, you vaguely recognized them from the clearing – pushed into the den. Their eyes gleamed with primal interest as they took positions near Rose’s feet, their heavy cocks already stirring as they watched her writhe. The scent of her fear and impending birth seemed to excite them.
Rose screamed again, a raw sound of agony and utter humiliation. “Get them out! Please! Jaina!”
“Push, girl!” Jaina commanded, ignoring her pleas. “When the pain comes, you bear down! Like shitting a log! Harder!”
Another contraction seized Rose, longer, stronger. She screamed, a guttural sound that tore from her throat as she instinctively obeyed, straining downward. One of the Betas leaned closer, his hot breath puffing against her spread thighs. He let out a low, appreciative growl.
“I see the head!” Jaina announced, her fingers busy between Rose’s legs. “Dark hair, just crowning! Push again! NOW!”
Rose sobbed, her body convulsing as she pushed with everything she had. There was a wet, tearing sound, a gush of blood and fluid, and a high, thin wail pierced the air. Jaina’s hands moved swiftly, pulling a small, squirming, fur-covered form into the dim light. It was undeniably wolf-like, yet undeniably human too – a squashed face, tiny pointed ears, limbs ending in minute claws. It was coated in blood and mucus, wriggling weakly in Jaina’s grasp.
“First pup!” Jaina declared, holding the strange creature up for the watching Betas to see. They rumbled deep in their chests, a sound of approval. Jaina swiftly wiped the pup’s mouth and placed it roughly on Rose’s heaving stomach. “Get it latched, girl. Feed it.”
Rose stared in utter horror at the squalling hybrid thing trying to nuzzle her breast. She recoiled. “No! I won’t! Get it OFF ME!”
One of the Betas snarled, a sharp, warning sound. He took a step closer, looming over her.
“Feed it,” Jaina repeated, her voice hardening. “Or they’ll make you.” She turned her attention back between Rose’s legs. “Another head! Push!”
Rose, sobbing uncontrollably, fumbled the alien creature towards her nipple. Its tiny mouth clamped on, sucking frantically, a sensation that made her gasp. The pain between her legs intensified as another powerful contraction hit. She screamed, pushing again, the watching Betas grunting with each visible strain. A second pup emerged, slick and wriggling, joining its sibling on Rose’s stomach. The Betas nudged closer, their noses twitching, their erect cocks brushing against the furs near her feet. The smell of birth-blood and milk was thick, primal.
Your own body chose that moment to rebel. A contraction, fiercer than any before, slammed into you, stealing your breath. It felt like your spine was being crushed, your pelvis pried apart from within. You cried out, curling in on yourself, hands pressing against the taut, unforgiving curve of your belly. This was Alpha’s legacy. This monstrous weight, this tearing pain. The image of Rose’s hybrid pups, the Betas looming over her while she fed one, the other still slick between her legs… it filled you with a new kind of terror.
The hide flap was shoved aside again. Not Delta, not Betas. Alpha filled the entrance, his massive form blotting out the dawn light. His dark eyes, gleaming with that unnerving intelligence, scanned the scene – Rose bleeding, suckling two strange creatures, the Betas watching intently. Then his gaze locked onto you, curled in agony on your furs.
He padded towards you, the heavy scent of musk and power preceding him, overwhelming the smell of blood and birth. He sniffed the air around you, a low, rumbling growl vibrating in his chest. Possessive. Anticipatory. His massive head dipped, his wet nose nudging your swollen belly, then lower, sniffing at the junction of your thighs where dampness had begun to stain your shift. The sheer intimacy of the inspection, the primal claim it staked, sent a shudder through you that had nothing to do with the contraction still gripping your core.
Another wave of pain crashed over you, sharper, demanding. You gasped, arching your back. Alpha’s paw – huge, clawed – landed heavily on your hip, pinning you gently but immovably to the furs. He leaned in close, his hot breath washing over your ear, his voice a guttural rasp that bypassed thought and went straight to the terrified core of you.
“MY pups come,” he growled. The words were thick, heavy with certainty. “Push, Bitch.”
The command vibrated through your bones, primal and absolute. Alpha’s claws pricked your hip, holding you anchored as another contraction tore through you, a relentless wave of agony that squeezed the breath from your lungs. You arched, a strangled cry escaping your lips, the pressure immense, terrifying. "Fuck! It hurts!" you gasped, sweat stinging your eyes, the world narrowing to the brutal demand of your own body and the beast pinning you.
"Push!" Alpha snarled, his muzzle brushing your ear, the guttural sound echoing the agony twisting your insides. You bore down with everything you had, a guttural scream ripping from your throat as something immense shifted, stretched, threatened to tear you apart. The sensation was obscene, a burning pressure unlike anything you’d imagined. You felt a wet, tearing pop deep inside, followed by a gush of warm fluid soaking the furs beneath you, the coppery tang of blood mingling with the thick musk of the den. "Oh gods, tearing... ripping me open!"
Across the den, Rose’s choked sobs mingled with the mewling cries of her pups. One of the Betas grunted, a low, satisfied sound, as Rose desperately tried to latch another squirming hybrid onto her other breast. Jaina, hands slick with blood and birth fluids, moved with unnerving calm. "Good, Lady. That’s the head. Alpha’s first-born crowns. Big one." Her words were clinical, devoid of comfort, only observation. Alpha rumbled, a possessive growl vibrating against your side, his massive paw pressing down, forcing your hips flush against the furs as the pressure intensified.
You screamed again, raw and ragged, pushing against the impossible stretch. "Get it OUT!" you shrieked, the pain a white-hot brand searing your core. You felt Jaina’s calloused fingers between your legs, guiding, pulling. There was a sickening, wet slide followed by sudden, shocking relief as a heavy, wriggling weight slithered free onto the furs between your thighs. The sharp, piercing cry of a newborn filled the air, joined immediately by Alpha’s deep, triumphant roar that shook the den walls. Your body trembled violently, spent and slick.
Jaina swiftly wiped the pup’s muzzle, clearing its airways. It was larger than Rose’s, covered in dark, wet down, already squirming with surprising strength, tiny claws scratching the furs. "Strong male," Jaina announced, placing the writhing creature, still coated in your blood and fluids, directly onto your heaving stomach. Its tiny mouth immediately rooted blindly against your sweat-slicked skin, searching. "Feed him. Now." The command brooked no argument.
Exhaustion warred with revulsion. "No," you whispered, trying to recoil from the alien thing nuzzling your skin, its tiny claws pricking. Alpha’s growl deepened, a clear threat. His claws flexed against your hip bone, promising pain far worse than birth. Terrified, you fumbled, guiding the blind, questing mouth towards your swollen, tender nipple. The instant latch was shockingly strong, a sharp, electric pull deep into your breast. "Fuck! It bites!" you yelped, the sensation intensely uncomfortable, invasive.
Alpha lowered his massive head, sniffing the pup, then your breast where it suckled. He licked a broad stripe up the side of your face, a gesture of grotesque approval that left your skin sticky. Your reprieve was short-lived. Another agonizing contraction seized you. "Not again! Oh, please, no more!" you begged, writhing against Alpha’s unyielding hold. He merely growled, "Push, Bitch. More." The process repeated, a blur of tearing pain and wet, sliding relief. Four more times. Five squirming, mewling pups lay on your belly and chest, slick and demanding, each latch sending jolts of sharp discomfort through your tender breasts. Your body felt ravaged, hollowed out, dripping. Alpha surveyed his litter, five dark-furred hybrids already suckling greedily, his chest swelling with silent, feral pride. "Our Future," he rasped, the single word echoing in the blood-scented air.
The next week was a haze of exhaustion and raw, constant pain. Your breasts, swollen hard as rocks, throbbed incessantly. Five hungry mouths clamped on seemingly every hour, their tiny needle-sharp teeth grazing sensitive flesh, sucking with relentless urgency. Your initial repulsion, turned to pride a way that surprised you. You were a mother. The mother of wolves. Well sort of.. At least they were cute at this age. They grew visibly, their thin down thickening into coarse fur, their limbs lengthening, becoming coordinated with frightening speed. Within three days, they were clumsily trying to climb over each other, tumbling off the furs. Their mewls turned to sharp yips and playful growls.
By the fifth day. Jaina brought chunks of raw, venison. The pups, now the size of large terriers and moving with startling agility, scrambled over each other, yipping excitedly. They tore into the meat with tiny, sharp fangs, snarling and play-fighting over the scraps, their muzzles stained red. The scent of blood and raw meat filled the den, primal and unsettling. And you are not sure why, but the blood and the uncooked meat didnt seem to smell bad as it had the first day, in fact you were hungry. You would have them cook it first but still a fresh cool sounded..... You begin to wonder what else this Bond to the pack was going to do.
On the seventh day, Delta appeared at the entrance. He gave a short, sharp bark. The pups’ heads snapped up instantly. They scrambled off you and Rose, without a backward glance. With excited yips and clumsy bounds, they tumbled and jostled each other towards Delta, then out into the grey light beyond the den, joining the rough, playful tussle of the rest of the pack’s younger wolves. The sudden silence was profound, broken only by your ragged breathing and Rose’s soft sob of relief. Your breasts ached fiercely, still leaking milk for pups who no longer needed it, a stark, painful reminder of what had been ripped from you and you also noticed now that they were not being munched on, that your breasts were big, like huge. They would shrink back down right...right? Alpha watched them go, a low rumble of satisfaction in his throat, before turning his gleaming eyes back to you. The den felt colder, emptier, yet the weight of what had happened, and what was growing outside, pressed down harder than ever.
