Chapter 1: Breakfast Belches and Bloating
The morning sun sliced through the grimy window of their shared apartment, illuminating dust motes dancing over a battlefield of empty chip bags and unwashed cups. The air hung thick with the greasy, savory scent of instant ramen, a smell Naruto Uzumaki had elevated to an art form this particular morning.
He stood at the stove, watching three pots bubble with furious intensity. Not one. Three. Each one held a double portion of noodles, swimming in a broth extra-enriched with a full stick of butter he’d melted into each. The calorie count was a thing of beauty.
“Smells… potent,” a sleepy voice mumbled from the doorway.
Naruto turned, his heart doing a familiar, hopeful skip. Ino Yamanaka leaned against the doorframe, her long platinum hair a tangled cascade over her shoulders. She was still in her short, silky nightgown, and the way her body, all generous curves and soft edges, filled the space made his throat go dry. Her height meant she nearly brushed the top of the frame, a stunning, sleepy giantess.
“Big day ahead. Need fuel,” Naruto said, forcing a casual tone as he gestured with a ladle. “Made extra. Didn’t want you to have to cook.”
Ino padded into the kitchen, her movements languid with sleep. She collapsed into a chair at the small table, the wood groaning under her weight. A massive, jaw-cracking yawn escaped her, ending in a soft, rumbling belch that she didn’t even bother to cover. “Ugh. Sorry. My stomach’s already gurgling.”
Naruto’s grip on the ladle tightened. Perfect.
Sakura emerged next, her short pink hair adorably mussed. She was taller than Ino, an impressive figure of power and softness, her chest straining against the fabric of her tank top. She sniffed the air, her emerald eyes still heavy-lidded. “Naruto, that’s enough ramen to feed a platoon.”
“It’s the good kind!” he chirped, already sliding overflowing bowls in front of them. The noodles swam in the oily, buttery liquid. “Extra pork chunks, soft-boiled eggs, the works. Dig in!”
He watched, barely breathing, as the two women picked up their chopsticks. This was the moment. The first step.
Ino slurped a thick cluster of noodles, the sound loud and satisfying. She chewed with a lazy contentment, already leaning back in her chair. “So good. I swear, I was too tired to even think about breakfast.”
“Tell me about it,” Sakura agreed around a mouthful, her words slightly muffled. “The hospital was chaos last night. Three chakra exhaustion cases.” She took another huge bite, and Naruto’s eyes fixated on the movement of her jaw, the slight bulge in her cheeks.
He ate his own ramen slowly, his appetite for food far less than his appetite for the scene unfolding before him. This was better than any mission success.
Ino was the first to finish, pushing her empty bowl away with a contented sigh. She stretched her arms over her head, a movement that pulled her nightgown taut across her torso. Then it happened. A deep, resonant belch rumbled from her lips. She blinked, looking mildly surprised, then chuckled. “Wow. Excuse me. That really hit the spot.”
Naruto felt a flush of heat spread through his chest. It was everything he’d imagined.
Sakura wasn’t far behind. She polished off the last of her broth and set her bowl down with a clatter. A soft, almost sigh-like sound escaped her, followed by a subtle, shifting grimace. A quiet, breathy fart punctuated the moment. She colored slightly, waving a hand in front of her face. “Ugh, those eggs,” she muttered, an excuse readily available.
Naruto’s pulse hammered in his ears. It was happening. They were accepting it. They were embodying it.
He saw it then, the real prize. As they sat back, sated and lazy, the tight fabric of their nightclothes strained against their midsections. Two distinct, soft bulges pressed against the material. Bloated, full bellies, proof of his successful experiment.
“I don’t think I can move,” Ino groaned, patting her stomach gently. “I might just call in sick. The flower shop can survive without me for a day.”
“Don’t tempt me,” Sakura said, slumping further in her chair. “I could just lie here forever.”
Naruto finally allowed himself a small, genuine smile as he collected the bowls. This was just the beginning. A little extra butter each day, bigger portions, more snacks left lying around. Slowly, steadily. He would nurture this laziness, this glorious, unashamed physicality. He watched Ino’s head loll back against the chair and saw Sakura’s eyes drift closed.
They were perfect. And soon, they would be his.
