Chapter 2: Hinata's Miscalculation

The setting sun bled orange and purple across the training grounds, casting long, distorted shadows from the three friends. The air, once filled with the sharp cracks of practice strikes, now held only the sound of heavy breathing and the rustle of clothing adjusting over damp skin.

Ino leaned against a wooden post, her chest rising and falling with deep, tired breaths. She wiped a sleeve across her brow, the fabric of her standard issue blouse pulling taut across her back. “I’m done. I’m absolutely spent.” Her voice was a husky drawl. “I don’t think I’ve ever been this wiped after drills.”

Sakura nodded, her hands on her hips. The motion caused a slight, soft jiggle beneath her fitted top, a phenomenon that hadn’t been there a few weeks prior. “Tell me about it. My stamina’s just gone. Must be the weird sleep schedule at the hospital.” She absently patted her stomach, a firm, rounded curve that pressed insistently against the waistband of her shorts. “And I’m still so full from that massive lunch Naruto packed us.”

Naruto watched them, a quiet thrill coursing through him. The excuses were like music. They were building the narrative for him, brick by brick. He saw the way Ino’s hips seemed a little wider, how her thighs now brushed together when she walked. He saw the new, heavy softness of Sakura’s famed bust, the way it strained the seams of her top with a more profound weight. They were blossoming.

“You guys just need more fuel,” he said, his tone light and supportive. “Bigger bodies need more energy, that’s all.”

Before they could answer, a new voice cut through the twilight, sharp and clear. “Naruto-kun?”

Hinata Hyuga approached, her footsteps silent on the packed earth. She stood with a rigid posture, her lavender hair framing a face set with determination. The setting sun glinted off the corded muscle of her bare arms and the stark definition of her abdomen visible beneath her crop top. She was a sculpture of hardened flesh, every line carved by relentless discipline.

“Hey, Hinata! What’s up?” Naruto asked, though his eyes flickered back to the lush, tired forms of Ino and Sakura.

Hinata’s pale eyes followed his gaze, a flicker of contempt in their depths. She flexed her bicep unconsciously, the muscle bulging. “I wished to speak with you. Privately.”

Ino rolled her eyes, grabbing Sakura’s arm. “C’mon, Forehead. Let’s go find a bath and a bed, in that order.” They shuffled away, their movements languid, their conversation already drifting back to what they might eat for dinner.

Once they were out of earshot, Hinata stepped closer. Her voice dropped, laced with a false, syrupy concern. “Naruto-kun, I couldn’t help but notice… your friends. They are looking… very plump lately.” She let the word hang in the air, ugly and final. “It’s becoming quite noticeable. Disgusting, even.”

Naruto’s breath hitched. He could feel the blood rushing in his ears. Plump. The word, meant as an insult, painted a vivid, beautiful picture in his mind: the gentle swell of Ino’s lower belly, the soft fullness of Sakura’s cheeks.

“They’ve just been really stressed,” he managed, his voice a little tight.

“Stress does not excuse a lack of discipline,” Hinata stated, her tone rigid. She placed a hand on her own flat, rock-hard stomach. “It is a sign of weakness. I worry for their health, of course.” The lie was smooth, practiced. “I was thinking… perhaps I could help. I could prepare their meals. Healthy, balanced meals that would… slim them down. Get them back into proper shape.”

Inside, Naruto’s mind was racing. This was an unexpected gift. Hinata, with her obsessive focus on ‘health,’ would be the perfect, unsuspecting accomplice. She would insist on cooking, on controlling their diet, and he could easily manipulate her efforts. A little extra oil here, a hidden stash of rich sauces there. She would think she was helping, while he ensured every ‘healthy’ meal was a stepping stone to his ultimate vision.

He looked at Hinata’s earnest, misguided face and fought to keep his expression neutral. “You’d… you’d do that for them?”

“Of course,” she said, a smug, almost imperceptible smile touching her lips. She believed she was removing her rivals, sculpting them into forms Naruto would find unattractive. She had no idea she was proposing an alliance with the very architect of the softness she despised.

“That’s really nice of you, Hinata,” Naruto said, his smile genuine now. He pictured Ino and Sakura, their bodies growing heavier, softer, more languid, all under the diligent, mistaken care of the village’s most disciplined kunoichi. “I think that’s a great idea. They could really use the help.”

The last sliver of sun dipped below the horizon, and in the deepening blue twilight, two plotters stood in agreement, their goals a perfect, secret contradiction. The path was now clear, and it was paved with generous portions and misguided intentions.
