Chapter 6: Sin
The night air was thick with the scent of damp earth and the faintest hint of smoke. Breilla's eyes fluttered open, her vision blurry and disoriented. She blinked several times, trying to clear her head and make sense of her surroundings. The last thing she remembered was standing on the edge of the roof, ready to end it all.
But now, she found herself in a completely different place. She was no longer on the roof, but in the middle of the pitch below, crucified with firewood beneath her. She could feel the rough texture of the wood against her skin, the sharp pain of the nails driven through her wrists and ankles.
She looked down at herself, her eyes widening in disbelief. "What the... How am I still alive?" she stammered, her voice hoarse from screaming. "I jumped. I jumped from the roof. I should be dead." She shook her head, trying to make sense of it all. "This doesn't make any sense. None of this makes any sense." She looked around, her eyes scanning the dark landscape. "Why am I here? Why am I crucified?" Her voice echoed in the empty night, seeking an answer from the silent world around her. She squirmed, trying to free herself from the wooden beams, but the nails held fast. "What did I do to deserve this? I just wanted to end it all, to escape those spirits. Why am I still here? Why like this?" Her voice cracked, tears streaming down her face as she struggled against her restraints. "This isn't fair.
I can't feel my legs," Breilla whimpered, her voice barely above a whisper. "It hurts so much. Please, make it stop." Her body was wracked with pain, every muscle tensed as she struggled against the wooden beams that held her in place. The nails driven through her wrists and ankles were sharp and unforgiving, digging into her flesh with each movement.
Breilla could feel the blood trickling down her arms and legs, staining the rough wood beneath her.
She cried out in pain and desperation, her voice echoing through the empty night. "Help! Someone please help me!" she screamed, her voice hoarse from the endless wails of agony that had been her constant companion since she'd woken up on the pitch. "Please, anyone! I can't take this anymore!" But there was no response, only the cold silence of the night. She was alone, completely and utterly alone in this godforsaken place.
She could feel the firewood beneath her starting to smolder, the heat growing more intense with each passing moment. She tried to move, to squirm away from the flames, but the nails driven through her wrists and ankles held fast. She was trapped, helpless and at the mercy of this infernal torment.
"Please," she begged, her voice barely a whisper now. "Please, someone help me." She looked around, her eyes scanning the dark landscape for any sign of life.
But all she saw was the empty expanse of the pitch, stretching out into the night. Or so she thought.
Suddenly, the stillness of the night was shattered by a faint rustling sound. Breilla's eyes darted around, her heart pounding in her chest as she tried to pinpoint its source. Then, she saw them - figures, appearing out of nowhere, materializing on the balconies of the school buildings surrounding the pitch. They stood there, silent and still, their faces obscured by the darkness. Breilla squinted, her eyes adjusting to the dim light, and she realized with a shock that these were not just any figures - they were her schoolmates, their lifeless eyes staring down at her, their expressions flat and emotionless.
And then, right in front of her, three more figures appeared. Breilla's breath hitched in her throat as she recognized them - her mom, her dad, and her boyfriend, standing there, witnessing her agony.
"Mom... Dad... I'm so sorry," she choked out, tears streaming down her face. "I didn't mean for this to happen. I didn't mean to leave you like this." Her voice was barely above a whisper, her body wracked with pain and regret. She looked back at her parents, her heart aching with sorrow. "I love you both so much.
I'm sorry," she whispered, her voice barely audible. Suddenly, every figure, including her parents and boyfriend, spoke in unison, their voices echoing through the night like a haunting chorus. "To flee thy pain, thou sought thy rest, yet sin hath marked thee, cursed, unblessed. A century of torment now must bind, thy soul in anguish, grief enshrined." Breilla's eyes widened in shock, her heart pounding in her chest as she stared at the figures, their faces still obscured by the darkness. "What... what does that mean?" she stammered, her voice shaking with fear and confusion. "Why are you saying that? What do you want from me?" She struggled against her restraints, her body wracked with pain as she tried to free herself from the wooden beams. The nails dug deeper into her flesh, drawing more blood, but she didn't care.
She had to know how many figures were watching her, how many were part of this twisted nightmare. Panic surged through her veins as she started to count them. One... Two... Three... She counted them all, her heart pounding in her chest like a drum. Ten... Twenty... Thirty... She kept counting, her voice shaking as she whispered the numbers to herself. Sixty... Seventy... Eighty... Ninety... One hundred.
Breilla's breath hitched in her throat as she realized the truth. There were one hundred figures watching her, their lifeless eyes staring down at her with an eerie intensity. She felt a chill run down her spine as she understood what this meant. She was crucified, in this godforsaken place, for a century. A century of torment awaited her, a century of anguish and grief.
Breilla's heart pounded in her chest as she realized the gravity of her situation. She looked up at the figures on the balconies, their faces still obscured by the darkness, and she noticed something strange - one of them was burning.
The figure stood stiff and unmoving, flames licking at its body as if it were made of paper. She blinked in disbelief, her eyes widening as she watched the figure continue to burn without so much as a flinch or a twitch. It was a horrifying sight, one that sent a shiver down her spine and made her stomach churn.
Breilla's eyes darted down to the firewood beneath her, and she realized with a jolt that the flames had started to spread. The wood was smoldering now, the smoke curling up around her body in thick tendrils. She could feel the heat growing more intense with each passing moment, and she knew that she had to act fast if she wanted to escape this infernal torment.
She struggled against her restraints, her body wracked with pain as she tried to free herself from the wooden beams that held her in place.
The nails dug deeper into her flesh with each movement, drawing more blood, but she didn't care. She had to get out of here, had to escape this godforsaken place before it was too late. "What the fuck is happening?" "Why am I still alive? Why am I being tortured like this?" Her eyes darted around, searching for any sign of help or escape.
"Oh God, it hurts! It hurts so fucking much!" she screamed, her voice hoarse from the pain. The flames were licking at her skin now, the heat intense and unbearable. She could feel her flesh starting to blister and char, the smell of burning meat filling the air. "Please, someone help me! she cried out, her body writhing in agony as she struggled against her restraints. The nails dug deeper into her flesh with each movement, but she didn't care.
Suddenly, Breilla's screams echoed through the night as the fire started to consume her. She could feel the heat, intense and unbearable, licking at her skin. But to her shock and horror, her body remained unscathed, not a single burn mark marring her flesh. She could feel the pain, the agony of the flames, but her body was untouched. "What the fuck?!" she screamed, her voice hoarse from the pain and confusion. "Why am I not burning?
Breilla screamed, her voice echoing through the night. She could feel the flames licking at her skin, the heat intense and unbearable, but her body remained untouched. She squirmed and struggled against the wooden beams that held her in place, her body wracked with pain and confusion. "What the fuck is happening to me?!" she cried out, her voice hoarse from the endless wails of agony and frustration.
As she hung there, her body wracked with pain, Breilla's eyes darted around the pitch, searching for any sign of change. The night was still, the figures on the balconies unmoving, their lifeless eyes staring down at her. She felt like she had been hanging there for an eternity, her agony unending.
Then, suddenly, it happened. After what felt like a year, another figure started to burn. It was one of her schoolmates, standing on the balcony of the science building. Breilla watched in horror as flames engulfed the figure, licking at its body with an insatiable hunger. The figure didn't move, didn't scream, didn't even flinch as it burned. It was as if it was made of paper, or perhaps something even more combustible.
Breilla's heart pounded in her chest as she realized the implications of this new development.
"Oh my God," she gasped, her voice barely above a whisper. "This is never going to end, is it? I'm going to be stuck here, crucified and burning, until every single one of those fuckers up there has had their turn." She felt a surge of anger and despair wash over her, and she let out a scream of frustration. "Fuck! Fuck this! Fuck all of you!" she screamed, her voice echoing through the night. "I didn't ask for this! I didn't want any of this!"
She struggled against her restraints, her body wracked with pain as she tried to free herself once more. But it was no use. The nails held fast, and she was trapped, helpless and at the mercy of this never-ending torment.
she screamed, her voice hoarse from years of enduring the agony. Her body wracked with pain, she continued to struggle against her restraints, her voice echoing through the empty night.
"Fuck you! Fuck you all! Why won't you just let me die?!" she screamed, tears streaming down her face as she looked up at the figures on the balconies. "I'm not going to take this anymore! I'm not going to let you torture me like this for another fucking century!" Her voice cracked with emotion, her body shaking with sobs.
The fire had burned fifteen figures, meaning that she'd been crucified and burned for fifteen years. The thought sent a shiver down her spine, and she felt a wave of nausea wash over her. She couldn't believe that she'd been trapped in this godforsaken place for so long, enduring this endless torment.
"Fuck this shit! What the fuck did I do to deserve this?!" she screamed, tears streaming down her face, her body shaking with sobs and rage. "I just wanted to fucking end it all, to escape those fucking spirits! Why like this?!" Her voice cracked, her cries echoing through the empty night. "This isn't fucking fair! I didn't ask for this! She struggled against her restraints, her body wracked with pain, her voice hoarse from screaming. Fuck! Fuck! I can't take this anymore! I can't fucking do this!" She let out a guttural scream, her body convulsing with the force of her anguish.
For the last fifteen years, every waking moment had been consumed by this futile struggle. The nails, now rusted and pitted, had become a part of her, as much a part of her as her own flesh and blood. Yet, she couldn't stop. She couldn't give up. She had to keep trying, had to keep fighting, even if it was just to prove to herself that she was still alive, still human, still capable of feeling something other than this endless, agonizing pain.
Her muscles burned, her tendons screamed in protest, but she ignored it all. She had to keep moving, keep fighting, keep trying to free herself from this godforsaken crucifix. She pulled and twisted, her body slick with sweat and blood, her breath coming in ragged gasps. The nails shifted slightly, just enough to send a fresh wave of pain coursing through her limbs, but she didn't stop. She couldn't stop.
Suddenly, from the firewood below her feet which had been burning her body for 15 years, a pair of barbed wire came out, slithering around her body like a serpent.
Breilla's eyes widened in terror as she felt the sharp edges of the barbed wire dig into her flesh. She let out a scream of agony as the wire wrapped around her torso, her arms, and her legs, constricting her movements and causing her to gasp for breath.
"What is this?" she cried out, her voice hoarse from screaming. "It's fucking hurting me! Please, make it stop!" Her body convulsed as she struggled against the wire, but it only tightened further, digging deeper into her flesh and causing her to whimper in pain.
Breilla's eyes darted around in panic as she tried to figure out what was happening. She could feel the wire's sharp edges cutting into her skin, leaving trails of blood as it constricted around her body. She could barely move her limbs, and the pain was excruciating. She let out a guttural scream, her voice echoing through the empty night as she fought against the wire's relentless grip. "Fuck!" she screamed, tears streaming down her face as she struggled to free herself.
The barbed wire was unyielding, its sharp edges digging deeper into her flesh with each futile attempt to escape. Her body was wracked with pain, every muscle tensed as she fought against the constricting wire. She could feel the blood trickling down her skin, each drop a testament to her futile struggle.
The wire was now so tight that it was cutting off her circulation. Her arms and legs felt numb, and she could barely move them. She was trapped, completely and utterly at the mercy of this godforsaken place and its twisted tormentors. She could feel the panic rising within her, threatening to consume her as she realized that she was truly and utterly helpless.
"Fuck!" she screamed, her voice hoarse from the pain and the sheer terror that was coursing through her veins. "What the fuck is this? Why is this happening to me?!" Her body convulsed as she struggled against the wire, but it only tightened further, digging deeper into her flesh and causing her to gasp in agony.
Suddenly, she noticed something strange - the ends of the barbed wire were coming together, twisting and turning until they formed a single, thick bulge right in front of her face. She squinted, her eyes widening in horror as she realized what was happening. "It's...
it's trying to... Oh God, no!" Breilla's eyes widened in terror as she watched the bulge of barbed wire push its way towards her mouth. She tried to scream, to cry out for help, but it was too late. The wire was already forcing its way between her lips, filling her mouth and silencing her screams.
She gagged and choked as the wire pushed further into her throat, threatening to suffocate her. She could feel the sharp edges cutting into her gums and tongue, drawing blood as she struggled to breathe. Her body convulsed in panic as she fought against the restraints, but it was no use. The wire was unyielding, its grip tightening around her body and cutting off her air supply.
Breilla's vision started to blur as she struggled to breathe. Her lungs burned with the need for oxygen, and she could feel herself growing weaker with each passing moment.
She couldn't pass out, let alone die. Not yet. Not until she had endured every second of this 'punishment of her sin for suicide,' as the haunting chorus had declared. She had to stay conscious, had to bear witness to every agonizing moment of this endless torment.
Breilla's eyes watered as she tried to blink away the tears that blurred her vision. The barbed wire was now completely filling her mouth, its sharp edges cutting into her gums and tongue as it forced its way deeper into her throat. She gagged and choked, her body convulsing as she struggled to breathe.
Her vision blurred, and she could feel the blood trickling down her chin, mixing with the saliva that was pooling in her mouth. She could taste the metallic tang of blood, and it made her stomach churn. The nails had been driven through her wrists and ankles so many times that they were now just a part of her, as much a part of her as her own flesh and blood.
The firewood had been burning for fifty years, marking each passing moment with a crackle and a pop. Fifty figures had burned, their lifeless eyes watching her from the balconies above. Fifty years of torment had passed, and still, she hung there, crucified and burning.
Breilla's body was wracked with pain, her muscles aching from the endless struggle against her restraints. The barbed wire was still constricting her body, its sharp edges digging deeper into her flesh with each passing moment. Her breath came in ragged gasps as she fought to breathe, the barbed wire filling her mouth and cutting off her air supply.
Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in her chest. She looked down and felt that the barbed wire had started to wrap around her heart, its sharp edges cutting into her flesh and drawing blood.
She could feel the pain radiating from her chest, spreading outwards and consuming her entire body. She let out a guttural scream, her voice hoarse from the endless wails of agony that had been her constant companion since she'd woken up on the pitch.
But all that emerged was a muffled, inarticulate sound, her mouth filled with the unyielding barbed wire that had begun to constrict around her heart. She tried to scream again, to cry out for help, but it was no use. The wire was unyielding, its sharp edges cutting into her gums and tongue as it forced its way deeper into her throat.
Breilla gagged and choked, her body convulsing as she struggled to breathe. The pain in her chest was excruciating, radiating outwards and consuming her entire body. She could feel the barbed wire wrapping around her heart, its sharp edges digging deeper into her flesh and drawing blood.
Suddenly, in the year 65 of her torment, she felt something strange happening inside her. She could feel the barbed wire moving, writhing and twisting as it made its way through her digestive system. It was as if the wire had a mind of its own, determined to find a way out of her body. She could feel it snaking its way through her stomach, her intestines, and finally, she could feel it pushing against the walls of her rectum.
Breilla let out a guttural scream, her body convulsing as she felt the wire start to emerge from her anus.
She could feel the sharp edges cutting into her flesh, drawing blood as it pushed its way out. The pain was excruciating, unlike anything she had ever experienced before. She could feel the wire writhing and twisting inside her, its unyielding grip constricting her body and causing her to gasp for breath. she screamed, tears streaming down her face as she struggled against the restraints.
The barbed wire was unyielding, its sharp edges digging deeper into her flesh with each passing moment. Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in her lower back. She looked down and felt that the barbed wire had started to wrap around her anus, its sharp edges cutting into her flesh and drawing blood.
Breilla's eyes widened in horror as she realized what was happening. The wire was moving, pushing its way through her digestive system and making its way towards her rectum.
Breilla could feel it snaking through her intestines, its unyielding grip constricting her body and causing her to gasp for breath. She tried to move, to squirm and twist in an attempt to dislodge the wire, but it was no use. Her torso was tightly constricted by the barbed wire on both the outside and inside, leaving her completely helpless. She could feel the wire writhing and twisting inside her, its sharp edges cutting into her flesh and drawing blood. She could feel it pushing against the walls of her rectum, and she let out a guttural scream as it finally emerged from her anus.
The wire was covered in blood, its sharp edges glistening in the moonlight.
It snaked its way back up her body, finding its way to her vagina. Breilla let out a scream that echoed through the night as she felt the wire pushing its way inside her. She could feel the sharp edges cutting into her flesh, drawing blood as it forced its way deeper and deeper. She tried to clench her legs together, to stop the wire from entering, but it was no use. The wire was unyielding, its grip tightening around her body as it pushed its way inside her.
In the year 70 of her torment, Breilla felt a new kind of pain, a pain that was both excruciating and humiliating. She could feel the barbed wire moving inside her, writhing and twisting as it made its way through her most intimate parts. She screamed and struggled, her body convulsing as she fought against the restraints that held her in place.
The barbed wire filling her vagina was excruciating, its sharp edges cutting into her flesh and drawing blood. Her belly began to bulge as the wire pushed its way inside her, but the constricting wire around her torso forced it to remain flat. It was as if her body was being torn apart from the inside out, the pain unbearable and unlike anything she had ever experienced before.
Breilla's eyes widened in terror as she realized the implications of what was happening to her. The barbed wire was moving inside her, writhing and twisting as it made its way through her most intimate parts. She could feel it pushing against her womb, threatening to tear through her flesh and spill out into the empty night. The pain was unlike anything she had ever felt before, a raw and primal agony that consumed her entire being.
She screamed and thrashed against her restraints, but it was no use. She was trapped, completely at the mercy of this twisted torment. And with a sinking feeling in her stomach, she realized that this was just the beginning. She had to endure this for the next 25 years of her 'punishment.'
Breilla's body convulsed as she felt the barbed wire writhing and twisting inside her, its sharp edges cutting into her flesh and drawing blood. She let out a guttural scream, her voice hoarse from the endless wails of agony that had become her constant companion.
The firewood below her feet continued to burn, the flames licking at her skin and sending waves of pain coursing through her body. She could feel the heat, intense and unbearable, but her body remained unscathed.
The flames below her had been burning for 100 years, each figure a testament to her endless torment. But now, they started to dwindle, the fire's intensity waning as if it too was growing tired of this never-ending punishment.
"Please," she whispered in her mind, her voice barely above a whimper. "Please, just let me die. I can't take this anymore. I can't keep fighting this endless battle. I just want it to end. I want to be free." Tears streamed down her face, her body shaking with sobs as she begged for release. "I don't want to live like this anymore. I don't want to be trapped in this godforsaken place, burning and suffering for all eternity. I just want to be free. I can't keep enduring this agony." Her vision began to swim, the world around her blurring as darkness crept in from the edges of her consciousness. "I can't... I can't..." she whispered, her voice trailing off as her vision went black and she lost consciousness.
Breilla's head lolled forward, her body going limp as she hung from the crucifix. The firewood below her crackled and popped, the flames flickering and dancing in the sudden stillness. The barbed wire that had been writhing inside her stilled, its sharp edges no longer cutting into her flesh. The pain that had been consuming her every thought and action began to ebb away, leaving behind a blessed numbness.
