Chapter 31: Iron Paradise
The precinct gym had evolved into a temple of pure, exerted force. The air itself felt dense, pressurized by grunts and the seismic thuds of weighted plates meeting rubber mats. Today was a demonstration.
Naruto sat in a specially-ordered reinforced lounge chair, a throne of thick vinyl and steel, positioned at a safe, respectful distance from the lifting platform. His presence was a soft, warm center to the room’s hard edges. His sweatpants, a stretchy gray material, were taut across the expansive curve of his stomach, which rested heavily in his lap, a settled, living weight. The waistband was buried beneath a soft roll of flesh, and his department polo shirt strained around his chest and the solid swell of his belly.
On the floor beside his chair, two of his new 19-year-old assistants knelt. Miho, a brunette with earnest eyes and shoulders already broadening from weeks of Temari’s regimen, held a bowl of yogurt parfait layered with granola and honey. Natsumi, her blonde hair in a practical ponytail, had her hands, slick with cocoa butter, gently kneading the great dome of Naruto’s stomach through the thin fabric of his shirt. Her movements were rhythmic, worshipful.
“Just open wide, Captain,” Miho murmured, lifting a heaping spoonful.
Naruto, his blue eyes fixed on the platform, absently did so, swallowing the sweet, cold mixture without looking. A contented sigh escaped him, partly from the food, partly from Natsumi’s diligent hands. “Thanks, you guys. You don’t have to—oof, right there—you don’t have to do this, you know.”
“We want to,” they said in unison, blushing.
On the platform, Temari and Karui were preparing. They wore matching weightlifting singlet, a bold blue that highlighted every phenomenal striation and curve. They were not the same, but they were equals in sheer, breathtaking mass.
Temari, at 7‘8“, was a masterpiece of definition. Her blonde hair was swept back in a severe tail. As she chalked her hands, the muscles in her back formed a landscape of rivers and mountains—trapezius like twin shields, latissimus dorsi flaring like the wings of some mythic creature. Her legs, as she positioned herself over the barbell, were sculpted monuments: quadriceps like corded bundles of steel, calves etched in stark relief.
Karui, beside her, was density personified. Her spiky red hair was the only soft thing about her silhouette. Her muscles didn’t cut; they swelled. Her shoulders were vast, rounded boulders of power. Her waist, thick with obliques and spinal erectors, was a solid cylinder of might. Her thighs, as she took her stance, were like ancient tree trunks, her hamstrings bulging with terrifying potential.
The barbell was loaded to a staggering total. Eight red plates on each side shuddered as Temari gave it a testing nudge with her foot.
“Light warm-up,” Temari announced, her voice echoing in the hushed gym. The few other officers present—Sergeant Suzume, now so broad she almost filled a standard doorway, and Officer Ayame, whose neck had thickened into a powerful column—watched with reverent silence.
Temari took her grip. The room held its breath. There was a moment of pure, coiled potential, every muscle in her body drawn tight like a composite bow. Then, with a roar that was half effort, half pure joy, she pulled.
The bar broke from the floor as if commanded. It traveled upward in a smooth, vicious arc, guided by the impossible propulsion of her legs and back. She locked it out at her hips, standing fully erect, a gargantuan goddess of lift. The sinews in her neck stood out like cables. She held it for three seconds, the weight utterly conquered, before slamming it down. The impact vibrated through the floor and up through the legs of Naruto’s chair.
He let out a low whistle around a mouthful of parfait. “Incredible.”
Before the echo of the plates faded, Karui stepped up. Her style was different. No roar, just a deep, guttural exhale that sounded like stone grinding on stone. She seized the bar. Her pull was not fluid but brutally powerful, a display of raw, grappling strength. The weight seemed to fight her, but her body, a machine of condensed force, refused to lose. She stood, the bar bending slightly in her grip, her wide muscular waist the undeniable core of her stability. Her lockout was a statement. She held Naruto’s gaze as she did it, her dark eyes blazing with a pride she only showed in these moments.
She dropped the bar with a final, defining crash.
The applause was instant. The other women clapped, their own substantial muscles flexing. Naruto, beaming, tried to clap but found his hands patting comfortably against the sides of his belly. “Amazing! Both of you! That’s gotta be a new precinct record!”
Temari and Karui shared a look, a rare, unguarded moment of mutual respect forged in iron. They were drenched in sweat, their singlets clinging to every sublime contour. They walked over to Naruto, their towering forms blocking the fluorescent lights, casting him in a shadow that smelled of chalk, sweat, and triumph.
Karui reached down first. She didn’t ask. Her hands, still dusty and strong enough to snap steel, slid under Naruto’s arms. With a soft grunt of effort—an effort that made every muscle in her arms and shoulders bloom into breathtaking detail—she lifted him from the chair as if he were made of cloud.
He gasped, his own hands flailing before settling on her shoulders, which felt like warm, living stone. She settled him swiftly onto her left hip, her arm wrapping around his back, her hand splayed possessively over the side of his stomach. At 5‘0“, seated on her hip, his head was level with her chest. He was enveloped by her.
“See what discipline builds?” Karui said, her voice a low rumble in her chest that vibrated through him. “Strength to protect what’s important.”
Before he could answer, Temari’s hand, equally massive but sculpted differently, came to rest on his head, her fingers gently ruffling his spiky blonde hair. “And to care for it,” she added, her green eyes soft. Her bicep, curling near his face, was a world of defined peaks and valleys.
From his perch, Naruto’s view of the gym was a forest of towering, muscular feminine forms. Sergeant Suzume smiled, her biceps straining her sleeves. Officer Ayame flexed an arm casually, the deltoid a perfect, rounded apple of muscle. The new recruits watched, their young eyes wide with awe—not just at the lifting, but at the intimate, casual way these titanesses handled their beloved captain.
Later, in the locker room corridor, a fresh batch of eighteen-year-old recruits arrived, led by Naruto and his three assistants. The girls—tall, lanky, vine-tender things—gaped.
They didn’t just see a short, round captain. They saw a king escorted by his devoted guardians. Miho carried his files. Natsumi still had a hand resting on the small of his back, as if guiding a national treasure. A third assistant, Aiko, walked ahead, clearing a path with a confident smile.
“This is the main bullpen,” Naruto said, his voice cheerful and warm. He had to tilt his head back to look up at the recruits, his neck resting in the soft shelf of his own chin. “Sergeant Inuzuka is our logistics coordinator.”
Kiba waved a pudgy hand from his massive chair, a sandwich in the other. Beside him, Temari stood, one hand resting on his shoulder, her physique making the recruit closest to her instinctively straighten her own posture.
One recruit, a girl with wide blue eyes and hair the color of wheat, stared at Naruto, then up at the monumental women around him, then back at Naruto. “Captain,” she breathed, “is it true you solved the diamond heist because of a smudge on a window?”
Naruto laughed, a sound that made his stomach shake gently against the front of his uniform polo. “Well, it was a partial fingerprint in the condensation, but yeah, basically!”
The recruit blushed a deep scarlet. She was already 5‘10“. She would grow.
The transformation was gradual, relentless. Each day, the women of the precinct seemed a fraction wider, a shade more substantial. It wasn’t fat. It was heft. It was the dense, powerful curve of a back that could carry worlds. It was the swell of a thigh that could squat a small car. Officer Ayame’s chest and shoulders now completely obscured the locker behind her. Sergeant Suzume had to turn sideways to get through the report room door, her immensely broad back brushing the frame.
